I agree. The coach sets the tone in part by how he distributes the minutes. He doesn't bench anyone for poor play, won't expand the rotation to give someone else a shot, and to push the slumping players.

Barkley was right all along. Didn't want to admit it but he was. D'Antoni was saved by Coach Nash.

Diaw pretty much said the same thing. Have the Knicks ever looked coached in the last three years? They play a system and that was implemented to some extent but I would be hard pressed to say they were coached game to game. I know the Knicks didn't use advance scouting until last year under D'Antoni and then it involved handing players a folder of opponents tendencys.

Stop it man. I see Jennings own plenty of teams. He wants to be a Knick badly. The Milwaukee Bucks are garbage. Other teams are smart enough to double Jennings early unlike the Knicks.

NAH, JENNIngs isn't owning plenty of teams.. not sure what jennings you are watching.. I don't care what he wanted to be.. the guy is a bozo, a clown... but one thing we agree on, the knicks are not smart, and neither are they good..

i think d'antoni is a big part of the problem but the bigger part is that we lost a whole team for one guy. we lost chemistry, lost depth, and yes the coach isn't helping at all. So that makes you a bad team as we are seeing

Melo and Amare are killing this team. Ball stoppers. I wish we would have trade Amare for Deron Williams and Dwight would want to come here.

Williams and Dwight > Melo and Amare. No ball stopping.

It sure hasn't been easy to be a Knicks fan, ever since the 90's it has been all downhill. It was tough losing all those years when we were "clearing cap space" and hiring a well liked Olympic team in Dantoni, that all the stars want to play for. Those losing years were tough, but you always had a little ray of sunshine because you knew it was all apart of a future "big three" plans that would rival the Heat. Guess what?? You are looking at that team right now. This is the dream team that we suffered all those years for, and waited ever so patiently for. This is your capped out, "star" filled team to dominate the East. The knowledge that this is the team we have been waiting for all these years, makes these losses WAY more painful than those cap clearing years. You can accept it when a team with little talent would lose. Remember how our scrappy little Knicks would fight and fight even though talent wise they were grossly overmatched?? You could at least respect the fact that they had pride and tried their best. They would compensate for their lack of talent with hustle, hard work, passion, and PRIDE !!! It absolutely sickens me to see this current Knicks team, with all this "talent," play basketball like they really couldn't give a ****. That is lack of pride right there !! I feel like deep down inside Melo and Stat are like "well, we lost another one, but oh well, I am filthy freaking rich so I think I will go buy another new yacht." No stinking pride and they are oozing with potential, but without pride and discipline (from nutless Dantoni to self-discipline from the players themselves) this is the pile of **** we are left with. Baron Davis?? He will get us a few extra wins, but not anything remotely close to a deep playoff run. Fire that worthless bum Dantoni?? It should have been done a long time ago I think. To fire him now, in this compressed season, would not give the new coach the time to instill his system and principals on this team. It would get us a few extra wins, based on the fact that any live body with common sense could do better than Dantoni, but nothing remotely close to the success us fans are looking for. Yeah, I admit it without hesitation, that I was in full support of the Amare signing and the Melo trade. Never supported the Dantoni hire though, we all know that in order for any Knicks team to succeed in NY, we need a hard nose, no BS, and defensively minded coach. In other words the opposite of Dantoni. While watching my "dream" Knicks play tonight, I got an empty feeling deep in my gut. It wasn't anger or sadness, but rather the realization that our "dream" team is fatally flawed and we are stuck with them. I have never felt this hopeless, thanks for listening.

Team isnt that bad.

We can always trade Melo and Amare for a high lottery pick on draft day.

Melo is injured and Amare to lose weight. I'll give them until the trade deadline to get it together. Otherwise this summer someones going bye bye.

and what are we going to do with the high draft pick? Trade him in 3yrs for another flawed "superstar"

After watching the Davis interview after the game doesn't sound to good about him coming back any time soon. My guess the losing continues and we get a new coach

I was talking worse case scenario.

We are going to trade the spare parts for vets. I can see Shumpert being traded for a vet.

Glad I missed this one. I never thought we'd get blown out by the Bucks at home.

Disappointing loss last night. I could feel the frustration in the Garden. There was a lack of effort, we need to really pull these close games off.
