what does age have to do with skills? It is a nice accomplishment though. what do you think Houston will do in F.A.? Will they break the bank and if they do how will that affect them resigning Parsons in the future. I think he is the key to there future success. Him and Harden learning how to play defense.

2 moves I want the Rockets to do in the off-season.

1. Fire McHale and hire a capable coach.
2. Try to sign Dwight

I initially did not want Dwight but Asik's continous display of his imitations of Roberto Duran is painful.

You are not aware that most players in their first couple of seasons haven't peaked yet?
I expect Morey will continue to use his stats knowledge to rob other GMs, although they may be catching on.

Round 1 picks?

OKC in 4
Memphis in 7
Spurs in 6
GSW in 6 (my upset pick)

Heat in 5
Bulls in 6
Knicks in 5
Pacers in 7

Here are my picks..

Rockets in 6. This is my upset pick. Rockets actually match up pretty well with OKC. The only problem is Durant. If Lin stays aggressive then Lin/Harden can cancel out Westbrook/Durant. They key match-up here is Parsons and KMart. I think Parsons takes out KMart.

Clippers in 7. I agree that they go full 7 but I just like CP3 a little more than what Memphis has to offer.

Spurs in 5. This all depends on Nash. If Nash plays then I change to Lakers in 7. If not then Pops team takes them out in 5.

Denver in 4. Knuggets sweep Action Jackson's team.

Heat in 4. Bucks looks like a lottery team at the end of the season.

Bulls in 6. Thibs is just a great coach.

Knicks in 5. Boston gets game 3 and that is it.

Pacers in 4. Not impressed with ATL.

I find it amusing that McHale gets so much flack but in my opinion he got the team in a playoffs with untested role players and Harden who we know was a hell of a player but unknown risk to wheather he could be an alpha dog after being third fiddle on OKC.

They literally rebuild on the fly and don't have a deep bench by any measure.

Yet, they made the playoffs.

Maybe he had them playing over their head and the bad run's they had was more the natural pace of the team.

Lin and Asik did step up! Not huge, but incrementally and for the most part stayed healthy!

You have to watch the games to understand what is going on over there. They have the parts and they should have done better than 8th seed. I'll give you one example. Do you know what is their play after every time out? He calls an iso for Harden and clear out.

Looks like Rose is going to sit out and relax during these playoffs. I just think his refusal to play is lame. I get not wanting to rush back, but there's a big difference between not rushing back and taking your damn time. Still, doesn't hurt us so I'm not that bothered about it.

I wonder if he reconsiders if the Bulls get by NJ/BK. He will have been out for over a year at that point and his addition would give the Bulls a shot at getting past the Heat.

I don't think he will. To be honest, I think the owners kept him out all year so he could get a huge insurance payment. I think the Bulls get over $6mil from some nba player insurance thing if Rose is out the full season. Guess the owner decided the money was more important than having a rusty Rose play for a month or two.

He's had a lot of injuries, so they may have taken their toll. Also didn't he seperate his shoulder a few weeks ago? Probably will have surgery in the offseason. A shame, he was one of my favourite Knicks of that era.

This is the time to watch Denver with no go to guy at the end of the game, when they lose their cool at crunch time.

When they have to play in halfcourt sets, they pass the ball around not just for the open look , but guys are afraid to take the biggest shot. Ladies and gentlemen this is 2013 NBA playoff basketball !

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

With made shots and no turnovers Denver can't compete and win in the playoffs. You can't win this way in the post season. RUN RUN RUN style will make you become a turnover machine and embarrass you in the playoffs. George Karl you can't blame Melo now buddy.

They are? No way. They're forced to start 4 guards. An extremely deep team wouldn't have to do that.

That dunk by McGee was nasty. It's gonna be really rough for Denver to win today

They are home and down 2 at the half. They don't lose at home normally. I saw McGee's dunk but that was when I started watching. Are the Nuggets struggling? Is Lawson playing ok?
