For the past two games, Bryant had refused to sit a minute.

let's not allow reality to get in the way of a good d'antoni bashing, diva!

She wasn't bashing MDA, but it does speak volumes as to who is really running that team....

If the playoffs started today, Denver would be playing Houston in the first round. Just curious as to which way some of you guys on this thread would be leaning.

Denver. Cant stand James Harden.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Lakers really battling hard with the Spurs. This game has been really entertaining. Lakers are still a tough team and if they can get Nash back they're still gonna be a tough team to face in the playoffs. Gotta win this one with SA 1st tho but I like how they're playing. Good team D and O by the Lakers.

Lakers up with SA pressuring Blake and MDA with a huge time out. D12 played big as did all the Laker role players. Only 40 secs left. Lakers play GREAT D and hold on for the win! Man this was a tough game. The Spurs really wanted to get this one, but LA really pulled together with a huge performance.

If Gallo were playing, Denver without question. Now I'm just rooting for a good series. Hope the Manimal heals soon.

Houston

The team with a 37-3 record at home(best in NBA), with home court advantage in the series, with more playoff experience, and a 4-0 record during the regular season against, and an absolute gem in Evan Fournier filling in for Gallo.... will more than likely take care of business.

I think Denver makes WCF....they're that good.

Yeah, they seem to have an unlimited amount of depth. If I had to guess, I'd say it's gonna be Denver vs OKC in the WCF.

Denver's a mediocre road team. I have a tough time seeing them win in San Antonio.

Spurs might be injured just enough for Denver.

Denver's gonna be missing at least one if not two starters. I don't know how serious the Faried injury is. I don't think the MRI reports have been released yet. Lawson is working his way back. I think Denver is hit harder with injuries than SAS

That maybe so but Parker is not right and Manu is an Unknown. Maybe if Leonard had taken a big step up but I just do not see it.

But Denver will have anywhere from 1 to 3 injured starters - Lawson is just coming back and Faried is unknown. It's not clear SAS will be missing any key starters. Injury-wise, it's probably a wash or advantage SAS.

Spurs lost to an 8th seed in Memphis who were a worst mediocre road team 2 yrs ago when they weren't quite 100%. They won 61gms then. They lost to a young OKC team after going up 2-0. 2yrs removed and not at full strength again will present a challenge. Matter of fact Lakers will test them in the first round as they can't game plan for Kobe. Lakers are totally unpredictable.
