I know he's a good actor, but I wasn't prepared for how well he pulled it off. The character could've been really cringey in the wrong hands. Zoe Kravitz...can't tell if her performance is good or if she's just so hot that I couldn't take my eyes off her. But she works. I like the Bale, Keaton and Affleck, on occasion we're better Batmen, but Twilight did a good job. Movie is pretty fast moving for three hours. A big reason for this is that Batman is always active on screen and we get immersed into his investigation. Just can't get over how good Dano was. As far as the overall plot, it was good but not exceptional. Interesting enough, but I've seen the same story beats before. But it was good enough to keep things moving. I give it a 👍

Loved the mood. This is what I was hoping for with the Keaton movies.

Zoe oozes sex appeal. They could put her onscreen the entire time and make it a 10 hour movie.

I wish they picked a more physically imposing actor, but Pattinson did well.

Not feeling the final season, but I really liked it up to that point

I thought Pattinson looked OK as a young Bruce. One thing I didn't like was the total disrespect to Alfred. I thought he was about to tell him to STFU and make him some pancakes at one point.

Will Smith must have been delivered a dose of some severe venom by Jada for laughing at Chris Rocks’ joke. He might have stood up for her after but he was caught laughing at the joke on live tv. His mood changed very quick when the cameras switched back to Chris Rock.

He's the textbook example of what I wouldn't want my sons to be. Evidently we can sleep with his wife but can't make a joke about her. These are symptoms of a broken, delusional man.

Not really, no one owns their wife, they can sleep with whoever they like, it's just up to you whether you want to be in that kind of marriage. Someone being nasty about someone you care about on a very public stage, I can understand why someone would lose their ****.

I never get why people make out anyone who flips their lid or gets angry is crazy- we've all done it (though I tend to snap, storm off and sulk rather than hit people), doesn't make it okay to hit people when you're angry but it doesn't mean you're crazy either, just means you need to fathom out a better way to manage it.

He messed up in a public space, everyone does at some point, I'm sure he'll learn from it, don't really think it's a big deal

Sacrilege as it is, but I watched the Uconn-NC State Womens double over time game. I don’t watch a lot of womens college hoop but these tournament teams are great. Womens game is so different but still enjoyable.
Stamford vs. Uconn should be an epic game.

My son Graduated NC State so we were pulling there but major respect for UConn and all they accomplish.

We talked a lot about star trek in this thread. Anyone else watch Discovery and Picard? I haven't started on Strange new worlds yet.. also, anyone watch The Orville? Man..I love that show. 3rd season finally here. Rewatching 1st and 2nd season first before diving in to the new season.

Seriously?!? I just finished watching Star Trek Into Darkness seconds ago. It’s a crime that there hasn’t been a Star Trek movie in years. But it sounds like Star Trek 4 might be coming next year?!?

Chris Pine is a great Kirk IMO. Didn’t care for seeing him in Wonder Woman.

Just watched "Hustle" on Netflix. Nice feel good Basketball movie with LOTS of NBA Cameos (past and present) as well as And1 street ballers.

Anthony Edwards plays the "villain" and did a fantastic job (I bet there wasn't much acting to it, lol)

Highly recommend

Good to see international film star Boban carry another quality film I agree, solid flick.

I am watching “the boys”. Mrs Nalod not quite the fan but understands the messed up nature of the show. thats what makes it fun.
would haved loved to seen the reactions from execs when that thing was shopped around.

The show is definitely an upgrade from the source material. Although the comic book has far more WTF scenes, the shtick eventually waters down the overall content IMHO. Seth Rogen has done a good job of bringing these seemingly unadoptable titles to the small screen. The Starlight sexual assault scene, as painful as it is in the show, is way worse in the comics.
