I say that to say this, most of these posts are distracting from the main point at hand that needs to be addressed.... "Black lives matter simply refers to the notion that there's a specific vulnerability for blacks that need to be addressed” Barak Obama. When someone says black lives matter, it doesn't mean that white lives do not matter. It doesn't mean that blue lives do not matter...Black people are asking for fair treatment with police and in the justice system. That's the issue that needs to be addressed....

Uptown--what does it mean to step in the shoes of a black man? So being black gives you the right of rape? So why arent cops circling out Asians? Because African American men are causing violent crime at a disproportional rate. NOTHING else matters and everything else is excuse. Why is there a hood anyway? Is it designated for Black Americans to live there? The hood is an excuse.

Much respect to you for overcoming those hurdles. The criminal system should be the focal point but inflammatory talk by some shifted the conversation and others like myself here take exception to the blame whitey for all our problems and sins dialogue. The experiences that I have had is that white people especially the younger generation do care about social injustices and progress on that front has occured despite many travesties. I also believe as many black conservatives and intellectuals that black people as a whole need to exert personal responsibility to themselves and each other and address flaws rather than simply assign blame to others at every turn

Its very true about the younger generation.....I'm more interested in finding solutions at this point rather than ranking on each others race.
