He's one of those players who it feels like has been playing for decades. The book on him is that he's a black hole whose defense kinda limits him as starter. If you bring Drew off the bench to score and rebound, then he'll fill the role. If you bring him in as frontcourt starter, then you'll be disappointed.

Shawne Williams has just been given a training camp invite with the Lakers (reunited with D'Antoni), which is kind of a shame. We're thin in at C,PF, but also at SF (if we play Melo at the PF)- anything happens to MWP, and we're back to playing SG's at the 3 spot. Shawne Williams can play SF and PF (and he played C), is tough and can shoot the 3. Would have been a good fit, but I guess we weren't impressed with his workout.

Not sure if there is a chance for him to bought out down the road but it does make trading this second round pick a little easier to stomach.

Do I want him back on the team? Nope! Think he'd be a terrible match with JR, and would incur Woodies wrath. Still I wonder where he'll end up.

How many PG's did Dallas simply gain in one year that are better than all of our PG's?
