why not just take the 2? Why go for an off balance 3? I just don't understand.

Amare softest double teamer I've ever seen. Leaves someone open but no additional pressure on the ball handler what's the point?
Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Knicks cannot generate enough offense to counter Miami. We dont have the personnel to guard the perimeter with Shumpert out.

Also Chandler has zero offense. I'd kill for Eddy Curry right now.

lol, I can't see the Knicks winning one game, and we will set the new NBA record for most consecutive loses in the post season at 13 this Thursday. Stoudemire is the laziest defense I have seen in my life. His effort on defense is starting to make me hate him more and more.

Guys on the positive side we would have lost by more if Miami made free throws and Melo proved he is a great scorer. Lol

I'm not in favor of sending the $100,000,000 Amare to the bench but I am in favor of trading his ass and getting him the hell out of New York! Now onto the Rangers who are also losing but not getting embarrassed 2-1!

I can already hear what the players will say after the game.
1. They did their job now its time to do ours.
2. The heat won't beat us in our house.
3. We will make adjustments.
4. we have to protect homecourt.

Knicks will really need this rest to get their bodies right and hopefully come out strong at home. Hope the Garden will help the team come out pumped and aggressive. The Knicks did make some progress today. They did some good things and also had some lapses, but I'm looking forward to Tyson being back at 100% and everyone else being rested and strong.

And thats a problem when the defensive system depends on doubling & switching!!

It isn't progress, Matt. The dust just hasn't settled to see the Knicks are just a corpse. Another year we are fooled by this team with another losing playoff run.

Im trough with this team. If this is our peak and this is the rigged NBA that we can expect, Im out.

You mean who will defend Amare in the "trade amare" thread

I am sure many - but many fewer than before

Why is Clyde trying to make this sound like some sort of damn moral victory? We needed to win this game, and we lost. That's all there is to it.

The Knicks looked too frustrated and deflated. WTF are they going to do to change that when they come back to MSG?

I can't help but to think about this game in hindsight and believe that they just didn't try hard enough.

This is the first time we've lost 2 straight in the Woodson era. If things get much worse, He won't be the coach next year.

I wonder what Phil Jackson is thinking right now?

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

as much as I love Lin we wouldn't stand a chance with him either the way this series is going. And the way Amare is playing

It isn't Lin, it's not the refs, it's the fact that we are the inferior team. NYK is being exposed for the same problems we had under MDA right now. The roster is flawed or the coaching isn't using the players right.

Melo and Stat don't work together and the more I see them the more I think the issue is Amare. They just don't mix and Melo is clearly the star player. I doubt we can trade Stat but he will hold us back. The guy is a great player but he just doesn't produce for us when we NEED him to shine, and for $100 million you expect a lot more.

I am not sure I see Jax taking this job but you never know. Woody won't be back if this continues.

I agree with you. Stat is the out man out. And Stat's defense doesn't him his cause with the fans either. The guy plays flat out lazy. Maybe his back is still shot from last years playoffs against the Celtics, and maybe he needs surgery.
