Things may change now that Walsh is gone. Grunwald has a lot to do with this roster and I am sure he wants them to be successful. He didn't hire D'Antoni so he doesn't have to keep trying to justify the move like Walsh did.

Walsh is the master. Walsh doesn't have to justify anything. He kept Mike around to give him a good team. If Mike sucked this year he would have fired him no questions asked.

biggest problem with this team is that they're not running an offense. they aren't playing basketball. is it because they can't? or because it hasn't clicked yet? stay tuned i guess.

doesn't help when the coaches IQ <= 65 - he is clueless. You at least need a smart leader - just putrid. Sorry, there is no defending him anymore.

Walsh made one mistake hiring D'antoni and he kept trying to make things work. D'Antoni never should have been hired. Every flaw that was brought up about him Phoenix has been much more pronounced in NY. I like Walsh but he wasn't perfect. He protected D'Antoni and without that protection I don't see D'Antoni lasting the year.

Overshadowed by the TD problem is the Fields..think that project might be over. Shump needs to start. It's completely obvious. We need creators and people who can break down defenses and hit a jumper every once in awhile. Fields is failing at everything.
