But I'll take it?? BUT I'LL TAKE IT?? You know we are more likely to beat a contending team than a crappy one? This was a huge win that shows us we need to wake up to this games and if we really try, we can win.

Crappy teams have been our kryptonite. This was awesome!

Relax lol..agree..awesome win.

There is no way and CashMoney means NO WAY THE KNICKS LOSE ON SUNDAY! THEY'LL SHINE THE BALL UP REAL NICE, TURN THAT SUM BITCH SIDEWAYS AND SHOVE THE BALL RIGHT UP THE CAV'S CANDY ASSES! IF YOU SMELL WHAT CashMoney is cooking!!!

Hope you're right. Cleveland's pretty good, I've only seen them play three times but they won each one.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

I wouldn't discount the Cavs. Hollins and Hickson looked amazing last night as did Barron. They are another team that is tough for the Knicks to match up to.

good win.. melo and billups were great.. amare also, but he has to box out and do better than one damn rebound..

AC and shelden williams had quality minutes in the 4th.. nice cohesiveness..

the inability to stop guys like morrow and lopez and even petro is disturbing.. very disturbing..

watching jeffries handle a basektball is like watching someone try to shoot a gun with boxing gloves on..

I will take the win, but I am not happy.. took a huge effort from melo to eek out a win..

Carrying a team on your back for 50 games will do that to a guy.

That's funny. LeBron did that with Cleveland and he didn't get 1 rebound and play no defense.

Our 6'-11" $100M uber superstar just grabbed one freaking rebound! Not cool.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

GameNotes:

- If Melo plays like he has over the past 2 games - even without the 40 point output, say just 25 - I'd def call him a top 10 player easily. But he gotta give that defensive effort every game.

- Amare is worse on D than Melo. Zero ball recognition.

- Billups may have the nickname BigShot, but I am beginning to think that it's just a factor of him shooting so much/too much with the game on the line rather than something else. Couple of not so good decisions that a better team would have been able to recover from, Nets just sucked.

- Sheldon plays with poise, or perhaps with just little expression. Never rushed, mostly does the simple things. Don't mind him as 3rd big off bench.

- Amare played without leg sleeves and knee pads for the first time in about 20-30 games.

- Anyone notice that when guys were on bench they were all wrapped in blue towels instead of the normal white Gatorade logo variety?

- My god Knicks' bench is thin. MDA is forced to play like 5 guys who are normally 10th guy or lower on bench.

Do you understand what I am saying? Clearly you don't. I am comparing their competitive spirit. It's obvious Amar'e only has one on the offensive end.

1 rebound is unacceptbale but he blocked a few shots. It's not like he didn't try to play D, he's just not very good at it.

He doesn't try. The "not being very good at it" thing is a lame excuse. He has all the physical tools. He just doesn't put them to use.

Amare looks like dog **** but he is still the same guy who beasted the first half of the season whether he is playing like it or not.

I'm disgusted by Billups and our bench in general.
