He was also showing leadership trying to get Amare off the Ref and was very poised at the bench (signs of someone who got it right).

reportedly Shawne and Amare are close friends. He always is the first to pull Amare away in those situations.

He was good last night but the standard for excellence was his performance guarding LeBron. Shawne is looking like a lotto pick. I really hope we keep him and lock him up. He offers a lot of the same skills that Gallo did

yeah, shawne williams hired happy walters (amar'e's agent) to be his agent, too.

Great pick-up and I think we have to give Amare a lot of credit for getting him.

Who would have thought that Shawne Williams and Landry Fields would be significant parts of an NBA team.

Sad- but we should be including Mosguv with the above two- his role on the Knicks would have been a significant one for the rest of the year.
