The Milwaukee announcers predicted during the game that the number one story tomorrow in NY would be how Frye outplayed Bogut...and not how the Knicks got manhandled by Milwaukee.

I take serious offense to that, other team's announcers should no be allowed to insult NY'kers that way. I highly doubt that will be true, and those guys are asses for insinuating that we are ignorant homers.

They actually said they were constantly told by NYkers that the Knicks would lose... They praised Curry and Frye a ton tonight.

frye hit left handed hooks, jumpers, and really abused bogut, How can anyone see anything positive from bogut tonight? if the tables were turned, frye would be crucified on this site..

th picks the ball movement the board work the Mourning-lite block on Frye's dunk attempt the way he steppped out and cut Steph off on the pick and rolls...and he just turned 21.

The guy bring more intangibles in his pinky than 99% of this entire roster.

This is about the dumbest post tonight and yes it is getting personal. Frye is only 22 and you can only point to his one block tonight when his man goes off for 30. He had to watch alot of the game from the bench because Frye kept him in trouble. I would expect the younger guy to have more gusto. The same with when he played the Lakers the other nite, Bogut had a lot to say about Kobe but when Kobe sought him out to posterize, he took it.

Boguts not going to fare well guarding pfs on the perimeter. How many points in the paint did NY's bigs have. They rarely were able to even establish good position.

you think the only deciding impact on a game is a good shooting night. bloody Steph-lovers...

bloody? No I am not injured.
Look Bogut is having a subpar year for a top pick. It isn't the worst but it isn't great either. Bogut needs to learn how to score first off. He isn't going to be a scorer in this league with that post game you speak of. Kaman has superior skills in the post but he is a step slow. There's nothing that you can say now that the games have begun. You can't speak about how he will do this and that. It is occuring, Redd is the best thing for him because he can stand there and grab rebounds and help out with blocks. If he was on the Knicks he would get booed off the court. Danny Fortson was projected to be great post player as well, rugged in the post. As the number one pick you have to do more than what he is giving you right now. The real thing that is saving him besides Redd is that Marvin is stinking up the joint himself.

by your logic guy like Rodman and Ben Wallace were insignificant

pharzeone you are wrong, Bogut doesn't have to score to be a great player. your steph-love has blinded you from all rational basketball thought.

Rebounding, both defensive and offensive, good passing, setting good picks for his guards, blocking shots denying post position playing passing lanes are all things that help a TEAM WIN.

If he was a Knick he'd be cheered nightly. You think Larry Brown wouldn't plauy him you are stupid. He is everything in a big Brown covets. That team stays together and his offense catches up to his D and intangibles, the Bucks will be in serious contention for a title run.

newsflash, I am not a Steph lover. I don't have a clue what Marbury did to you and Knight and I don't want to know. I am not that big of a Bogut fan. I am still waiting to see what everyone else does. I like rebounding but he is the #1 f*^king pick. He can't say I am going to grab rebounds tonight. Rodman was a second round pick, Wallace wasn't drafted. As much as I love Wallace and Rodman game it is meaningless if they didn't play with other talented players. Rodman was lucky to play with some of the most talented offensive players to ever play the game. Frye unfortunately is ask to do more because he is funny enough the best option on this team. Bogut is being saved right now because Redd is the best 2 guard in the league. Take Redd out and Bogut's impact or expectation must change. Take your hatred of the Knicks out and you would see that.

Yikes, the ad hominem attacks are bad enough, but what this board really needs is some quote editing. Do we really need to relive every attack over and over in the quotes or bust a knuckle on the scroll wheel?

I agree, the focus should be on the fact that the Bucks outplayed the Knicks.

BTW, Frye smoked Bogut's ass.

pharezone does have a point though, bogut is the number 1 pick, there really shouldnt be a comparison between him and the number 8 pick. but then again number 1 picks arent what they used be, just look at kwame brown.

comparing frye and bgut is as stupid as it gets. number 1 they play completely different positions and the bIg number 2 Bogut has serious talent around him, many better options than the Knicks Bogut isnt going to shoot the ball 20 times, he might not even get 25 minutes every night with gadzuric and kukoc--why because they are a team.
WRONG. Comparing Bosh/CV to Frye/Curry is a stupid as it gets. Comparing Frye to Bogut on the night they're matched up and when the Bucks' GM had to weigh the pros and cons of each of those and other players makes sense. You're just upset your boy Bogut got schooled.

I don't hate the name on the Jersey.

Bogut isn't Kwame. The guy can play on the pro-level right now. You don't haave to see it. His team just kicked a mudhole in ours and are now 12-7.

Right, Bogut is getting a pass here because the Bucks are winning and they have Redd. If Redd goes down, you would expect Bogut's game to change. I watch Bucks (thank you NBA League Pass) and I like the fact that he is going hard on the defense but I also notice that when he plays against more physical players he doesn't look to get involve. Some people call that smart BB, I call it wimping out.

Bogut wasn't the problem it was Godzilla and Mags that took over the paint and crashed the boards, Frye and Nate were the only ones playing their butts off, we got nothing from Marbury, Crawford or Q, on either side of the ball, it was Matador D all the way!. OLE!

^He's not getting any pass, he is playing really well for just turning 21 and adjusting to the pro game. He leads all rookies in rebounding, I think that's a good start.

teamwise you are right. The Knick guards were awful tonight and Redd is and has been the best 2 guard in this league for sometime.

That was a dumb post, and I will leave it at that, because to look at bogut and call that block mourning like, and not even admit to the guy getting had is a joke, calling frye a light skined mark blount is assinine. for that matter Bogut looke like a light skinned Earvin Johnson, and I am not talking about magic.

I wonder somtimes.. really I do..

Dude, he is 21 and Frye is only 22. Bogut has collegiate experience as well as international experience. Are you really kidding?
