If KMart and Tyson are both healthy it might be smart to go with a traditional line up. KMart is the perfect power forward to play alongside of Melo in my opinion. I think that would be a strong line up. However, the Knicks three guard line up has been tough for other teams to match up against also.

There needs to be a 3rd big healthy for that to happen. Unfortunately I dont know if Camby even qualifies.

I think it would be smart to go with Copeland and hide him on Bass. That way Martin can back up Tyson and keep that 1-2 punch. With that line up there bench is weaker.

Duncan is a classic. Spurs look really good early. Wish I could stay up to watch this one.

Mcgee gets 10 rebs in 16 min. Koufos plays 20 min. 36 min at the 5 for Denver. They go small and win.

Teams winning without players is kind of the new thing. Miami sits its big three and still wins on the road in DC to a Wiz team that has been playing better. Denver wins against a SAS team that does not have Parker or Manu but does not have Gallo and Lawson.

Yes, the knicks have also done well at times without Melo. Relax.

Im impressed what Miami is doing.

Didnt D'antoni have a lot to do with that?

Every since Chandler came back from his second setback from hip injury he's been like the Chandler at his best as a Knick maybe better. His numbers efficiency wise are very very very very good.

Denver already broke a team record last night most consecutive wins at home(22 straight I think, haven't lost at home since January) and during the regular season(36-3 best record at home in the NBA).

Yeah he said it would be difficult finding playing time for him and keep in mind we were a team headed to the playoffs and ended up not having a healthy roster during the playoffs. Instead he goes to the Mavs helps them in a couple playoff games. Then Denver acquires him I believe along with Rudy Fernandez for low 2nd rd picks....

lolmnop!!!!!!

One of the many reasons you can't take D'AnToni too seriously as being a mastermind on the bench. There are too many things he totally whiffs on as a coach. Brewer is a Top 5 if not Top 3 bench player in the league oh and.....

He even has more NCAA Championships than Carmelo...you know because NCAA Championships Are The End All Be All To Greatness.....Yo Son Ya Heard?.....Word!

Obviously Brewer from those Florida teams with Donavan on the bench....Remember he won those back-to-back titles with Noah and Horford and was actually the best player during 1 of those chips....

But MDA played Raymond Felton like he was his Loucille to B.B. King's guitar. I guess only certain NCAA championships certify your greatness, playing time, or the position you play, or if you're the best scorer in the NBA.

And?

He managed to get 2. He could have went pro that year but they all elected to return, to repeat..... and got it done. You're acting as if Melo stayed at Cuse he would have won chip after chip until he turned pro. Point is, when listing all of what Carmelo has done on the NBA level cats try and be slick inserting his NCAA accomplishment(which has nothing to do with his NBA career btw)..... well Brewer's got 2 chips and was MOP during their 2007 run. A guy we simply wrote off as nothing even Knick fans at the time of his waiving were defending the move.

Who's to say Melo doesn't win another one if he returns? Didn't he win MOP as well?

And if you're guaranteed to be a top 5 draft pick in the NBA after winning, why stay?

Corey Brewer stayed obviously to win another chip but also to improve his draft position, which he did(7th overall pick).

Obviously besides his recent decent play, Corey Brewer has had a lousy NBA career for such a high pick.

Dude he was projected as a Lottery pick in 2006 too....."Skies The Limits"....."Just Like Ronnie Said The Brewer Principle" was selected 14th and Bargnani #1 overall. Dollars to Donuts says Corey would have landed Top 10 that year

I'm not saying Melo couldn't have won another chip at Cuse had he stayed....once again NCAA championships have nothing to do with an NBA career.

No one at the time said...

"Oh no we can't waive Brewer he won back-to-back NBA championships".... instead all the way up to that point they found it better of themselves to clown McHale, referring to him as McFail for picking the kid. Well turns out McHale may have been right on his talent there.

No one said.....

"No don't trade Felton for Billups in the Melo trade, Felton has an NCAA championship Billups doesn't." Oh wait Billups had an NBA Finals Chip and a NBA Finals MVP award, which I guess trumps anything Felton did NCAA related.....

SO YOU CAN KEEP MELO's 1 CHIP IN THE SAFE AT THE HOUSE AND TAKE BREWER'S 2 CHIPS TO THE BANK!!!!!!!!!

Is this applicable to J.R. Smith?

You know how he's playing a little smarter with his head slightly. Can we expect dumb mental midget Earl playing 1 on 5 while a teammate lies on the court after we pay him long term dollars?

I'll let you pick and choose according to personal circumstance and preference.

Of course he is. JR Smith has been in the league almost a decade already. Anyone who gives him a 9+ million per deal is a FOOL.

Plus he is still taking suspect shots. He just happens to be making them now.
