Anthony Davis must drive Lakers crazy —- didn’t watch all,of game tonight but while he was solid defensively & boards - think he went 5-17 after highly efficient 40 game 1. He’s so talented but yet leaves you wanting more.

Largely agree. I think the one thing the KNicks can offer is real opportunity. The OKC of the world are a lot farther away from truly contending

Knicks might be one bona fide star away. A guy can come in as alpha, win a championship and be a legend

That said, i don’t see Jaylen in our sights as much as someone like Dame

Colin Cowherd made a great point about him last year. AD will go down as one of the biggest what if’s because he has never been great at conditioning. A similar thing happened with Rasheed Wallace. These guys have insane talent and could have both been up there with Tim Duncan and Hakeem Olajuwon but they were never dedicated to conditioning hence AD’s long track record of injuries

8 time all star, 75th anniversary team, and 4 all NBA teams, and a ring.
He is an HOF player.
He is just no longer at that top tier.
The Cowherd take was pretty good. Rashweed had a very good long career and made a ton of money, just did not ever reach that level. That Davis got to. I get the comps though.

We - I at least - can take pleasure in the Fakers being down 2 to zip. Appreciated Denver’s Coach calling out the media on their Laker nut hugging “narrative.” Conspiracy theories aside, clearly the NBA and their ESPN etc. yes boys and Pom Pom wavers are invested in success for LeBron and company, Wemby going to San Antonio, super friend liaisons - and clowning the Knicks. Now that the latter is fading I wonder if a scrappy Dolan owned team can ever be “cool.” I kind of hope not.

I love the playoff intensity but what is Grant thinking. Don't poke Jimmy like that. There are some players you just don't want to get angry. Jimmy and Lebron take it up a notch when they get angry.

I remember a week or so ago I was talking about how easy it was to exploit teams who switch everything. Look how easy the Heat get the matchup they want. They did not even need the Bam special illegal screen. Just a lazy walk by was enough to get the switch they wanted.

So some guy named Caleb Martin scores 25 for the Heat while Donovan Mitchell, Emblid and Harden, et al play golf or go to strip clubs or whatever. Crazy.
