It looks like RJs most valuable contributions might come off the court this year.

I dunno. Would people trade Randle and three first rounders for Zion? How far do the Knicks go as just a Zion-RJ duo for the next 7 years?

I would. Very happy w Julius but not seeing him as that alpha

Buyers remorse. Last offseason I commented on Hayward and gallinari in particular. Though I suspect there will be more. Fine players but contracts for many guys were nuts

Now we’ll face that dilemma w Julius

Hayward has given them very solid production. It’s just unfortunate how his team had been riddled with injuries so I’m not buying these rumors. If he is available I’ll snatch him in a heartbeat.

Geeze Jazz score 72 first half and had 22 point lead. How do they respond in second half?? Give up 81 and lose by 12. New NBA

Surely the Jazz have to be silly for giving 30% of cap to Rudy Gobert?

"The (insert team) are open to moving (insert player name) if the right deal presents itself this offseason."

Does that apply to every team and 99% of the players?

And they had the best record in the league all season and he responds with DPOY, again?
You think they felt that way after 2-0 lead in series and Mitchell looks like a god too?

Maybe Clips feel silly for giving Kawahi all that money? Or do we wait one more game?

And is Mitchell going to take them all the way? He puts up ridiculous score fests in the playoffs. But then opposing guards are also going off for 40-50 points.

Yep, Thibs was right all season when he kept saying how he told players in todays league no lead is safe due to the sheer volume of 3pt shooting

Haywood: If there is something its not like its gonna be a secret. Maybe they think Ball is far ahead of what they thought they’d get and with that give him the keys sooner than later? With an asset in return for Haywood that perhaps also moves the dial.
Haywood was very durable before the freak injury and he seemed to bounce this year. Its not always a negative when “they open to the right deal”. We can say the same for Randle as well.
One year later our team also has a different complexion and adding Haywood is a different decision than it would have been last year. We know more about RJ, we know more about Haywood, and we know more about Randle. Does that change the value quotient about Haywoods contract? Maybe he worth more with all we know. What does Charlotte want? Last year he was free, now he a trade. Fans won’t want to pay of course. FO can’t look at it that way. ITs an opportunity or its not. We got Randle for free. Charlotte got him for free. Boston got Kemba for Free. Nets got KD, Kyrie for for free. Its how it works.
Do I want Haywood? Have to see the finished product. They not dumping him. What’s the price? I know, “Knox, a insignificant pick…”. But that salary???
And not Payton returning! LOL

He was worse defensively in playoff wasn't he? Either way I'm not blaming Mitchell for that since most if not all top guards in the NBA are liabilities defensively. I think Utah needs a proper #2 to pair with him.

What is the core issue with Boston? Brown or Tatum? Or chemistry? Every since the run thru the playoffs without Kyrie they just not even come close reaching potential.

The real issue is I think failed expectations. They have continued to downgrade their roster every year since 2016-2017. It’s been a talent loss creep. Then they lost the veteran leadership of Horford.

At one point they had Horford, Marcus Morris, Jae Crowder, Hayward, and Rozier on the team and now outside of Smart, Green, and Tatum the rest of the team is suspect. Ainge was the real issue on that team. He ran the roster in the ground to draft a bunch of mid wings. They could have got Myles Turner for Hayward and he said no because he wanted to rob them on that deal. That was the case with most of the guys for the 2016 team who were all allowed to walk for nothing because Ainge wanted to much to trade them but also didn’t want to pay them.

He also messed up on PGs going from cost effective IT, to Kyrie, to Kemba who were all injury prone and didn’t fit the culture like IT did.

I actually think they hit bottom this year and will be in the rise again next year which isn’t great for the Knicks.

How can people watch Harden play every game. I hate players that flop with a passion and every time I look at the screen he flops. How are the refs falling for every single one of them? Harden is known to flop but they blow the whistle every time. That shot where he kicks out his legs and falls whenever anyone is near him is so ugly to look at. I am seriously considering turning this off.

This is why he flops. It works.

The Nets just giving out a total of around 18.5 bench minutes! The downside of superteams. They dont trust the bench outside the superstars! One reason im not a fan of superteams!

I am so glad I kept watching. Just to see the Floppers get beat. It felt so good. All those flopping superstars to make it just one round further than us.
