Shump just lied to tina, he said Davis can take his man off the dribble at anytime. I don't think I have seen that this season.

He pulls up his dribble at half court half the time.

Davis can he just over thinks to much. Like he thought Novak was coming behind his left so he picked up his dribble but Novak ran on his right side so he got called for a travel. Then you have the 4 bad lobs a game he throws. What he does do well is create easy layups for bigs when he drives and dish. Sometimes he looks to dish to much which leaves him shooting a funky shot or trying a weird layup.

Great gutty win. Melo gutted it out and I was impressed. The offense looked stagnant though with Baron. He looked extremely rusty. Baron also had a lot of TOs. 9 or more I think. Get well soon Lin.

Ridiculous. Lin is constantly being pulled up for his turnovers, even when we win. But we can't pull Baron Davis, the veteran, on his own careless ball handling? What sort of preferential treatment is that?

It wasn't just Novak. Dunleavy got off on Melo and Fields too. Everyone got a taste of Dunleavy's jumper early on.

Shump and Melo shut that sh1t down in the second half.

He also had to cool off...it is the law of averages.

Cooling off isn't having 24 points in 13 minutes the first half and then only 2 points the next half.

Dunleavy's hot streak started on Novak. And once a shooter gets a few open looks, the basket starts to look bigger and bigger regardless of who is guarding them.

well... Bogut is always injured. Jackson wore out his welcome.

Udoh is a serviceable big off the bench. Ideally, one of Jennings/Monta should come off the bench imo.

I won't rule them out completely. Monta clearly looks uncomfortable. He is probably just getting used to his role in this new system. They have no defense whatsoever but their offense still has the potential to be potent.

Ilyasova didn't do anything tonight with Melo fighting for boards and Tyson batting out long rebounds.

1. Knicks won the game.

2. You then go with third string Zombie Bibby.

3. Knicks were winning.

To me, Baron looks like his back hurts but he is playing thru it.

Whole game was sloppy.

The hamstring was killing him last night. On a few occasions I saw him stretching his hamstring during the timeouts.

He is old and was turning the ball over like crazy...but we needed him last night. When he was out during the 1st half the offense came to a grinding halt. When he was out during the 2nd half...the team held its own.

Sure like all I missed J.Lin in last night BIG huge Knick win

but I will be in minority of this I feel Knicks Actually benefit last nite with AMARE
sitting or OUT even though he tremendously picked up his game finally over 1 wk worth ot games

Amare dont get excited to play vs NETs and BUCKs type teams is reason he is inconsistent
and often schooled Or out of it!

We'll welcome his return but STOUT out yesterday was a good thing for a change

It was Melo part 2 shrugging off slump shooting, as he lit up Celtics last season playoffs
when Amare or Lin wasnt even in the mix

Tonite proves
We do need our full team but a star/superstar in Melo is still best player on floor Most nites in NBA
not all nights but often
