Again here I go again on the Knicks other BIG man
whom isnt in Foul Trouble nor has NO IMPACT ON THIS GAME DEFENSIVELY

Which is Amare Stoudemire

They made 15 treys, how is that on amare, he did have some defensive laps, but it's tough to beat any team that drops 15 3's..thats the only way we use to win

What are you talking about ?
LISTEN
do not care what is said here to defend
AMARE is the other $mil dollar guy
what does he do you ask regarding lapses?
1) guys ANY-5 drives to hoop and there is no attempt nor presence
unless if its Tyson or Jared. At least foul them some time!
2) When last did you see AMARE on the wing get the ball and attempt to either
a) POST someone in paint
b) drive to/closer to basket for shot OR better attempt instead of his 22-25 foot jumpers he loves in
MDA system.
-Basically he'll hoist from anywhere he's left open on purpose, NBA Teams rather Amare shoot and
Stoudemire is TOO STUPID to do anything else to work harder for better shot regardless if he's not
getting a pick & roll attempt
3) AMARE rebound or lack of GOOD hands is evident whether on a pass feed or an deflect off basket,
is reason he doesnt have his 10-12 per game

IF your're gonna tell me man a guy his stature shouldnt rebound better consistently ..then shame
4) ALL in all Stoudemire is next star
he needs to act like it!

At least the rusty MELO Anthony is falling down, taking hits and going hard getting THUMPED to basket,
Melo timing was way off on shots he usually makes.

AMARE ? he dont even hit the Damn floor once, whether for a loose ball

5) How much NBA players get ABUSED by Kris "kardashian' Humphries

how much times eh ? you gonna have AMARE abused by the Humphries, Ayon's or lesser PFs in this NBA league eh ?

LEAST Melo has some comp at SF and when Anthony's right ya know what ? he'll get his 24-28 pts 7-8 boards, few assist/steals

Point I am making your other GOOD Player can be doing more
Amare Stoudemire when NY needs him to step up is about as reliable as used 6 yr expired toothpaste
for and > < $100mil dolllar guy you expect more

Last yr this man was near MVP

this season ? all the blame will go other way toward MELO
I dont think its right

Amare gets more of a fair pass in this NY Town
He ain't living up to billing ... That's what I am complaining about
If Amare jumper is only thing he loves & it aint working what good is he ? for the ballgame eh ?

Really poor effort and no intensity tonight. Q1 momentum disappeared with Baron on the floor.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Tough game. Extremely loose officiating. I don't understand refs that don't seem to think 6'8"+ dudes sparring with each other creates a potentially dangerous situation.

Carmelo was out of sync - he wasn't prepared to play in a game with such loose foul calls. A bunch of times he got hacked with no call at all.

The Knicks offense didn't execute when it needed to... and couldn't stop Deron when the game was slipping away. I think we got a sense of how valuable a defender Shumpert is against killer guards. The Knicks had no answer for Deron.

It's his 1st game back. I really can't get too caught up in how he looked tonight. This team needs some practice together to work on things and for coach to get a workable rotation with everyone in the mix. It's not about ISO ball in this instance. Melo just missed shots. Nothing really that some practice and games won't cure.

First game back with Melo and Davis. Nets hitting one "you can't do anything about that" shot after another. I did like how Lin found other ways to contribute when he was getting stopped in the paint.

The first 4-5 minutes of the game the Knicks looked exactly like how I hoped they would and Lin ran the point to perfection. Its a question of spreading that out over 4 quarters. Lin had very little help afterwards so I can't blame him for forcing the issue at times.

When Melo gets his stroke back I believe the rest of his game will follow. As someone pointed out he was moving the ball around well. We also saw some brief glimpses of Melo and Stat playing a two man game. I really hope they don't give up on that. They probably won't have to do it often but it adds another dimension to the offense.

Dude, you are seriously being a troll right now. So, we allow the other team to shoot nearly 50% from 3, one of the players goes off for 38, Humphries grabs every rebound in site and you want to talk about Melo? BTW, he just got back from a 7 game lay off, you think there might be some rust involved?

i dont blame melo since he was rusty. i mean amare has small spurts but he still hurts the team on defense and still is missing easy shots, lin didn't play badly 21 pts 9 assist. the poor kid is playing major minutes all the time

Knicks are going to have to learn to play half court basketball. Too much freelancing by everyone.

My third time posting the same thing w/ unlock.

How much of the blame should fall on Carmelo Anthony? At one point, knicks were -14 when he was on the floor and LITERALLY made Lin passive.

I miss some of the defensive intensity that Walker and sometimes Novak brought. I would like to see Carmelo play some kind of a Ginobli role until Mike figures everything out

Knicks don't need to learn anything except to gel with each other. This team can play halfcourt, don't be f'n ridiculous. We have to allow an adjustment for these guys to work in these returning players and new guys. They've been playing with a different group and now they have to gel with Melo and STAT back. I find it amazing how impatient and quick to dump on the team some fans are.

The worse thing from tis game is that we played a different offense then what we were playing the past 9 games. We used to have PNR after PNR until the defense broke down. I saw one PNR and if that did ot work we ISO'd melo or Amare. If Melo and Amare are not going to play th roll of chandler and Walker then we will lose.

I agree.

The excuses will come "first game back", yadda yadda.

It took JR smith exactly 5 minutes to fit into what the Knicks were doing.

Melo is just an iso player, that's it.

Someone has to go: Melo or MDA. I'd rather Melo.

To go from Sunday vs Mavs to this?

Melo will be fine. He actually plays hard on D, but once his timing and legs are back he'll be ballin on guys again. This is about this team developing chemistry with Lin, STAT, Melo, Fields & Tyson. Those guys have to really get a flow going. They've barely played together.

Here is my issue with Amare

Your big man 4 Flipping REBOUNDS
3 FOULs tells me he ain't playing hard
0 Steals tells me he ain't playing hard

35 min on the floor you're a big time Allstar NBAer and Guy whom speaks well in Post game conf.
But his talk is ALL talk

The sole thing Amare did well is 1 TO, only which is lower than his norm.

Furthermore your schooled by Kris Humphries 14 boards.

Nuff said

He won't be fine bro!

JR Smith took a 20,000 mile flight from China, never played with any of these guys before, came in and fit in perfectly with what we were doing.

HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU WANT TO GIVE MELO?? Send him packing.

You're never going to have chemistry with Melo, Amare and Chandler. I don't see why people just don't accept it's not going to work. You can't space the floor with those guys and they will be offensively limited now that Amare can't beat his man.
