Ur right about amare. he thrives on d'antoni's system and a good pg. Im sorry to bring it up again but melo just doesn't fin. yes he is a great offensive player but he is just too slow and now he is injury prone

melo is an excellent player and a top player in this league but as of right now, i don't think he fits into d'antoni's offensive scheme.

the thing about melo is that he's so good that he does the ability to adapt his game, let's hope he does. one way or another he's going to be on the knicks for the foreseeable future, he's not going anywhere.

Watching Lin and Wall shoot the three makes me appreciate how good K. Irvin is as a shooter for such a young player. Just off the top I can not think of a better young three point shooter at the pg. Lin gets the three down he will be something special.

Also, I look forward to seeing him play against a great defensive team because I do not think there will be a pg that can defend him one on one. With NY's potential line up when Melo and Amare get back will cause trouble for teams that try to put there best defender on Lin or a team that tries to double Lin.

And that's a shame, because if Dolan worked with MDA the sky is the limit.

Instead that dufus hires Woodson, trades for Melo, etc.,

Whatever. Lin is here now and MDA better get an extension.

Melo fits just fine. Now that we have a pg, he doesnt have to play point forward and will now move back into his comfort zone. Melo is one of the better mid-range shooters in the game and can feat off of Lin penetration if its put into the offense. We look good against the Nets and Wiz, but when we go up against the Elite, we will need a closer. Melo is a closer

I have a feeling it has something to do with the lob Lin threw to him in the Rocket game that Balkman looked like he tanked.

Guys, we are witnessing the birth of our identity. Out true identity.

Scrappy defense anchored by Chandler.

Ball movement initiated by Lin and so contagious it elevates the game of everybody.

Im sure Amar'e will easily fit into this. Its Melo who has to balance his game with this game. And if he does, we will quickly recover record-wise.

This is who we are. This is how we have to be to be winners.

Call the Nuggets, give them Melo for Gallo and Mozgov.

Tell them we're sorry and we made a mistake.

Loving it. But the thing that's in my mind is how Melo will put a fork in this and bring it to a grinding halt.

I hope I'm wrong, but...

He was changing his game to fit the team when he started getting hurt. Only fair to give the guy a chance to show that he can sustain it.
