The C's aren't just gonna let you score with your #1 option. This team has no way to get easy baskets and the only reliable scorers are STAT and Melo. It's pretty easy for a defense to take away STAT and Melo and leave your perimeter guys open. Look who was open on those last plays. Shump and Fields. C's will live with them taking shots. That's what will happen to this team every time with no breakdown PG.

Exactly.
I feel like the only thing we don't agree on is MDA.

Its funny because Hahn was asking fans on twitter if they are watching the knicks on MSG. Then they were replying NO i will watch on ESPN because they don't sugarcoat everything LOL

Listening sure enough not one mention of Toney Douglas

Van Gundy questioned the move on espn.

so did Breen only because he wasn't working for MSG at the time

Dude they couldnt get the ball in.

Previous two plays the ball moved to the open man, they missed good looks.

Not sure what your complaining. His only fault is maybe Lin tonight.

Awesome play. Amare and Melo play possum on top of the key, Shrump runs around in a circle and Novak, who hadnt played a single minute, takes the final shot.

Coach just sucks what can I say

He is our best 3pt shooter. The problem was no one could get open. I am guesing the plan was to have melo doubled then pass to open man. I can't fault the coach for the Novak decision.

We didnt need a three

Never said we needed a 3, the open shot off the double is more times than not the corner 3 in this system. Remember the 3 that Fields missed? That is why novak was there i nthe corner.

The kid is cold and scared...His shot was worse than Fields

JVG nailed it perfectly. He called out D'Antoni "Why put in Toney Douglas in 3rd if Lin played reasonably well in 1st half?" Then coincidentally(NOT!!!) Knicks lose the lead with TD in the game with no flow, stagnant offense, and nothing on defense or hustle.

Hahn mentioned for 2secs that in the first half Knicks but in Lin and although he wasn't great he didn't hurt them. 3rd quarter different story going to TD -9. Now they're really going after MDa for the stupid move to not pull TD sooner

The C's are agreat defense. They're not gonna just leave STAT. The 2 guys they will overplay are STAT and Melo. They will live with anyone else taking a shot. The only 2 guys left are Fields and Shump!!! Do you understand BB at all? Watch the damn game and see what the defense is taking away.

PLUS we don't have a PG that can breakdown the D and get into the paint and cause havok. At least not yet. I think Lin could eventually develop into that kind of player, but he's gotta take a few more steps. I would love to have not put TD in and let Lin play again. We'll see if this game changes MDA's mind finally.

That late game play was almost better than giving it to Jeffries at the end of game 2. Jesus christ

That's because their head coach is so much better than our head coach. We take the shots that they want us to take. A real head coach gets their team to take the shots that they want to take.

If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

I don't think you understand what I mean. The play was not set for novak. Novak was there to get the open shot off melo double team. Melo just could not get open. Why am I defending our coach anyway I want him gone.

This is the C's they take away your #1 and #2 option. Did you even watch the damn game? Pay freaking attention. They will double your primary scorers and leave the wings open. That's why we had Shump and Fields open. Learn the damn game!!!

Had to get the ball in.

Give Celts credit, they are and play good defense!

Knicks are getting close.

Regarding Lin, kid did good but you go with a vet down the stretch and it damn near worked.

We getting close. We got tired cuz we thin off the bench.

We need one more player, I really doubt Bd is going to comeback and be effective. Hopefully we can make some moves to upgrade the backcourt

Close loses to the Bulls or Heat ok. But eventually you have to win games against mediocre to above average teams.
