That is generally the length of time it takes for D'Antoni to figure things out, 15-20 games. I thought maybe the shortened training camp would help as the Knicks generally come out unprepared but adjust as they play more games. However, 15 games is 1/4 of the season this year.

Knicks look terrible. I really thought they were gonna come out like gang busters this season and dominate. Unfortunately I'm beginning to realize that maybe they're just not that good. Unless you have a Jordan or Kobe on your team, you need a pg who can make everyone on the team better. There's just too many good pg's in this league that are going to dominate the Knicks and create easy basket after easy basket, wreak havoc and cause guys to get into foul trouble. Not to mention, their defense still sucks and they continue to get dominated on the boards and out worked.

That's ok. 2011 is coming to a close. Let's just take a deep breath, make a New Year's resolution not to suck anymore, and start again in 2012. Go Knicks!

I really wanted Jax. My guess is Ewing would have been back as well.

OK, that steal by the Lakers set me in. Im out.

The Knicks can certainly make a promising season lose all its charm pretty quickly. This team is so far from a good team, I really wonder if Baron will make any difference. We have pieces, but they don't seem to fit. Not D'Antoni, not Amar'e, not Chandler, not...

Things may change now that Walsh is gone. Grunwald has a lot to do with this roster and I am sure he wants them to be successful. He didn't hire D'Antoni so he doesn't have to keep trying to justify the move like Walsh did.
