Defense one.

I'll be the first to man-up and give MDA props. I'll been all over him (pause). Anthony Carter and Bill Walker played outstanding defense tonight. Great, great, Great, win.

He coached a much better game today in terms of matchups. Hopefully he keeps this up. Still needs to call better timeouts to break momentum

Yeah, it would have been soo much better if we had you out there instead of him. Seriously dude we just punked the best team in the NBA in their house AFTER they came out firing on all cylinders and took a 15 point lead. And all you can talk about is calling time-outs? Go troll somewhere else.

I wasn't too psyched about the play he drew up for Walker with 12 secs and a 1 point lead but it all worked out.

yeah man, freaking talking heads. I hate Barry, he'll probably say something stupid like the heat gave this to the knicks vs us taking it.

I think the biggest difference in this game was the rebounding (not Defense though it was very good too). The biggest suprise there was Billy Sky Walker boxing out and going up crazy high to clear the defensive boards.

The knicks defense sometimes looks worse than it is because they often give teams 3-4 possessions per. I don't care how good you play defense, if you can't rebound, it is worthless.

Kudos to the Knicks tonight for boarding!!

so here is what phil is thinking ....

Pick your play of the game. Has to be the defense of anthony and block by stat on Melo. Who would ever have thought that would be a play of the game for the knicks.

Bad execution by Walker, overrunning the pass is MDA's fault? It took everyone on the Heat's D by surprise, isn't that what a good play call is supposed to do?

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

the best thing I saw tonight was that '7 seconds or less' was NOT used towards the end, and we have a great floor general plus 2 dominant iso players who will basically carry us home in close games.

Take your pick: that insane deep go-ahead 3 from Billups or the clutch D from Melo and Amare?

not questioning the play, good play. questioning, having bill walker be the guy catching the pass.

That was excellent. Best part of course being Lebron clanking a three that would have tied. How bout Sean Williams sinking some clutch FT's

Shawne Williams was pretty clutch tonight. He had a Fieldesque type of game.

I can't wait for this team to gain more chemistry and to also get some bigman help. It was a total team effort the coaching staff down to the very last player. They didn't get down when they got behind and they grinded it out against a tough team.

After two practices, the last oe focused on D, we gave out a great complete basketball game with efort everywhere. You could see this team wanted to make a statement after the Cavs game. This was a great showing by the Knicks! Can't stop loving this win!
