i said a young Alan Embree (like when he was in ATL & SF)... he didn't join Boston til he was a 10 year veteran... tho still, Embree was an important part of some good Boston teams in his time there... age just caught up to him... but in terms of style he's a hard throwing lefty that goes right at hitters just like Coke does.

someone needs to tell Jeter to stop catching balls in front of the bag on throws to 2B... if he'd position himself over the bag the ball would get there a lot quicker.

Thankfully he swung at ball 4. That was definitely some laboring on the mound tonight. Not a game we were winning earlier this year.
