Which he probably should as Pau played well off the bench and the spacing between he and Howard just isn't cutting it. Oh and D'Antoni wants to expand Howard's game by having him shoot jumpers....

Denver is better than last year, and so are we!

So we should all be happy.

Knicks were built to win now, and denver wasn't according to most evaluations preseason.

For a team that is not built to "win now" they sure are doing a good job!

So really what is the bar for them?

Is it so bad to have a great regular season? Seems the folks in OK have enjoyed the ride.

Rebuild, then compete, then make playoffs, then get to finals.

Were are they in Denver? I think a bit ahead fo the schedule.

personally I don't think they are true contenders in the west given the teams they have to face.

KNicks would be a 6th seed out west. About 2.3 games from the 5th. If we had to play some of those teams 4x it could be worse.

IM not saying Denver better than us, their record is.

As a 6th seed do I think we'd make it out of the first round out west? Not likley. As a 2-3 seed in the east the expectation is better.

One and done in the east is not like one and done in the west. Their 4 vs 5 is not like our 4 vs. 5!

nalod I understand how you are trying to be fair, sometimes it can seem as if you are playing both sides of the fence.. that is cool, but everything you said sure seems as if you are saying denver is better, and it is ok. I think they are.. but that shouldn't affect the way knicks fans feel about the knicks....

yes the west is tougher

yes denver has a better record and plays in the west

yes the knicks are better this year

Yes Denver is better this year..

And Yes, denver by all means seems to be the better team this year.... and honestly according to most, it wasn't supposed to be this way.. but it is... so it is something that won't go away.. and honestly shouldn't.... the trade was a dividing point among some fans...

IM not emotionally vested in Denver so I have "nothing to prove". Im enjoying their game. When Playa quotes the pudit "Rambis" as proof of his point I do enjoy the emotional banter.

I first round one and done for the Knuggs would not be an upset in my mind other than seeding. A one and done by the knicks would be because of the seeding but also "win now" and the fact we started so well!

I think Denver is a work in progress and will win a championship before the knicks. That I said even after the trade. None of us can see what that roster looks like when it does. I just think they have assets and assets can be changed as well.

It was my why I did not like the Melo trade. Its not about Gallo or chandler its also about lost opportunities in other places. Its subjective.

Anyway Im happy for a guy like Karl who has his health and enjoying the job he is doing.

And yea, it has noting to do with the Knicks!

When did I quote Rambis ????

I believe we just agreed after watching the NBA and having an understanding on how the playoffs go.

Derrick Rose SUCKS. What the eff is wrong with this douche?
The team is struggling for offense and grasping to hold on to playoff position and the d'bag was cleared to play by the team doctors weeks ago there are no physical issues and he is just sitting on bench and collecting his check? F*** even Eddy Curry at least had an excuse.

I don't think it makes much sense for him to come back now. The season is almost over. He's young and has his entire career ahead of him. I don't think he should risk anything by coming back before he is physically and mentally ready. May as well wait until next season, when he can go through a full training camp. He's the franchise player. It's better to be overly careful than for him to come back before he feels he is ready.

The season is over? They can probably win the East if Rose comes and plays well and Noah manages to stay effective. What's te point of having a franchise player who deosn't play when you need him the most inspie of being completely healthy?

I did not say the season was over. I said it was almost over, which is true. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me for him to push himself to come back now, when he can just wait til next season. Rose has been cleared by doctors but there have been reports that he's had other nagging injuries, in addition to recovering from the ACL. So it's unlikely that he is completely healthy. He knows his body best; I'll trust his judgment. If he's not ready to come back, he's not ready.

OK we have to agree to disagree, most people sign up to pay with "nagging injuries" when the season is on he line for heir teams. Rose is being just plain selfish in my opinion.

Deng matching James point for point, rebound for rebound, assist for assist, & the Bulls are winning.
It's not just Melo, Deng seems to elevate his game when faced with an elite player on the other end.
I wonder what his stats vs Durant are.

Oh and about NY and Denver...congrats to Denver, but also I think people tend to forget the enormous amount of injuries that have piled up throughout the year for the Knicks, Denver on the other hand has been one of the healthiest teams in the NBA.
Granted I didn't expect them to be this good, but the Knicks have had a good season, especialy considering the injuries...some people may call this "crying" but I'm not, I'm happy with the season (shocker, right?) and I know that if/when the Knicks are healthy they can give any team a run for their money.

I'm starting to wonder if he's scared to come back after getting hurt that bad. At first I thought Rose was being smart but now its looking like something else.

Houston just didn't want to help the knicks tonight. Neither did the Bobcats or the Bucks. Harden, Lin, and Parson with very bad nights.

You can hear Mike Breens inner heat fan if listen closely
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

What's up with Lin getting less minutes than Beverly?
