knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Lakers playing like GARBAGE again since Pau is back. There's just something weird about how this team plays when he's in the mix. Right now they're mainly taking and missing a lot of short shots and layups at the rim. On D they're not keeping up with the quicker GS players at all. The Lakers aren't using their size enough and GS is taking advantage of the weaker defenders on the Lakers. They've been going at Nash, Blake, Jamison hard!!!

Lakers need to pound it inside with D12, Pau and MWP. We'll see if they can get it together but D12 just committed another dumb foul so who knows. Don't like the body language of the Lakers. The GS guards are KILLING them right now. 22-41 GS.

D12 and MWP starting to be physical with GS eight now. Going inside 3 times in a row and getting good results.

MJax complaining to refs now about the physical Lakers play after Lakers block 2 shots, Barnes and then Lee. Unfortunately Clark then throws the ball away but the Lakers are digging in on D more.

Poor mike. His hofs just won't listen and play right. Curry looks great. Bogut is back. D12 still needs to grow up.

UGH! Awful response by Lakers. MWP and Nash are the only ones playing worth a darn. Pau is a soft WUSS. He gives you almost nothing out there. As a team the Lakers have clear advantages, but the 2 biggest guys are mental midgets!!! D12 with dumb fouls and Pau with being a giant Marshmallow. The Lakers could really use a healthy Hill right now. Pau is taking good minutes away from Clark who at least shows up and tries.

It's really just about effort at this point. It's not like they can't beat GS the Lakers have played FAR better than this and are certainly capable of giving a much better effort. I've watched nearly every Laker game and i've seen this team play at a high level before. It's a mental thing.

The lakers are definitely capable. They have a very talented roster with guys that are or have been the top players in the game. This team was supposed to win or st least compete for titles not hope they can hold onto the eighth seed.

They've already beaten GS twice. So far since Pau has returned the entire vibe the Lakers had is gone. It's not necessarily his fault, but they had a nice flow going with the guys they had starting. Pau is playing the high post but doesn't seem to like it. Right now The Lakers Bigs aren't defending, rebounding or scoring. If they're gonna be out there D12 and Pau MUST make their presence felt.

Curry and Klay are just getting off shots on the perimeter with the Lakers guards just being powerless against it. Looks like the Knicks game where Curry went crazy on our guards.

7pts but only 16 secs left. They could've been playing this hard all game but they waited til it was too late. D12 basically playing like crap on D. He sulks if he doesn't see the ball enough and really the Lakers didn't do enough to get him going early. That's always a mistake IMO. D12 is a child and you have to know that he's not gonna give max effort if he doesn't get his touches. Kobe was doing that during the Lakers good stretch. Now he's not really looking to do that as much. It's crystal clear by the stats that when Kobe focuses on getting his teammates involved the Lakers win.

Yeah, Curry . . . on a bad ankle. Damn. That behind the back crossover to drop a 3 on Nash was sick and worth watching in the highlight clips.

I tried to tell TKF, but he's still hanging on Denvers Nuggets.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Can't stand him- Kobe must absolutely despise him. It's weird- Kobe can sulk and get annoyed if he doesn't get the ball enough (I remember that playoff game years ago where he made a point of not shooting in a game 6 or 7 just to get back at critics who blasted him for taking too many shots) but he's tough, has one of the best work ethics in the game, and is driven to win. Dwight just seems to want to laugh at fart jokes.

stay away from standardized tests... the only way your interpretation works would be if i had said "the nuggets are a GOOD matchup for the rockets."

harden may be the superstar you think takes over at the end of games but what good are last minute heroics if you are being run out of the gym?
