Knick seem to have gotten 4-5 2nds out of the 2 trades.

Can’t you buy a late 2nd rd pick for like 50k.

You know I gonna spin wit it

Don’t think so anymore. Second rounders are more valuable now with the apron system.

For more assets. If someone gets injured during the season or we need someone we have something to trade.

They move out of 31 i would really piss me off when there talent still on board. Center out of unc henri Vessler, the small forward from duke Isiah Evan’s, or the shooting guard from Arkansas maleek Thomas.

Yeah f them…

But now that I see how we just played the draft I wonder if the hawks just saved us from being even more pissy as we might have just traded him away.

I wasn't a fan of Sergio de Larrea.

hes young but I don't think his skills translate well to the NBA. He wants to play like Cade Cunningham but without the athleticism and mid range talent. those kind of pgs are doomed in today's league imo.

so I'm glad we passed him on.

I suppose there was a 10% chance if Zuby was available they would've just taken him and completely changed their offseason plans given the rumor the front office liked him.

Only guy left on the board that is interesting to me is Baba Miller. Unique movement & dribble skills with the ball at his size.

Wonder if Deuce, #31, #47 + a few future 2nds could net us a legit Mitch replacement like say E Missi or something else?

We must be trying to keep him. Otherwise, why not take advantage of Cam Carr miraculously dropping to 24? That doesn’t prevent us from trading for Missi

I'm scratching my head over the Lakers swapping picks with the Knicks from 25 to 24 for cash considerations. Seems like the Knicks maybe just wanted to buy some more time to make other deals. I'm really struggling to find the incentive for the Lakers to do this, unless the Knicks somehow knew they were deadset on Carr? Maybe LA called the Knicks, because they were reading Ewingsglasses posts?

To me this all screams that we are bringing the whole crew together.

Personally I love running it back… loved zuby but we might have gotten our hearts crushed as I think trading back was the only move .

No one should loose sleep over cam carr There’s a reason cam Carr slipped in the draft. Sure his measurables were sweet and guy can ball in college as a catch and shoot player. But he also had to transfer, as the minutes weren’t there for him in Tennessee, due to his lack of defensive awareness and poor defense in general. Can he change that sure he has the talent will he probably not anytime soon. As of right now he’s a one way player.

Next year I’d take Shamet over him … in 3 years I’d take Carr if he develops into a 2 way player.

When players like Carr, cenac, and reed drop you take those players. The warriors, thunder, heat, and spurs all done this in the past when somebody drops they take that player. Look at tonight Mara, Carr, and cenac all dropped those teams got the player that unexpectedly dropped. I rather it be last year and we didn’t have first round pick so we didn’t have to deal with this crap.

The chemistry our team has can’t be taught so I’m not to upset if the goal is to run it back and draft a few stash players that don’t go against our cap.

Look at

Momo Faye very similar to Robinson.

It’s not the same NBA. The aprons are really changing the strategy and in our case, that strategy is to give yourself a chance to bring the championship team back.

You do that when you have cape space, we don't have cape space. It seems to me Leon is trying to resign Robinson and Shamet.

We have growth potential with the players we already have. The team didn't truly click until the middle of the first round of the playoffs.

The success they had together from that point forwards is the foundation for getting better and continuing to learn how to play well TOGETHER.

We have talent that can continue to blossom within the lineup, including Diawara who is locked in for multiple seasons now.

Sometimes it is better to stick together. Most repeaters did it that way with small tweaks to the lineup.
