You better than that Martin, Massai has a Ring.
Siakim has a ring.
OG played 74 games and 10 in the playoffs before injury that year has a ring.

We in conf. finals after 25 years is super nice. Super fun, but really lose sense of history?
Celtics are in second apron hell with ownership changes and they were no doubt making changes and perhaps a third reiteration with Brown/tatum or one being traded with others to reboot for down the road. Not blow it up.
2013 we ended that teams run who also had a chip but that team was running from Father Time. We went to second round and all recall was Indy got us pretty good with JR and Melo kind of melting down physically.
We retired 5 players that year and did **** for years after while Boston rebooted.

They still have banners and memories for its fans. We create ours and should celebrate.

Sure its funny the dude yelling at windy but calling him names was stupid. He has a job to do and is good at it. He does not have hindsight like the fan. Plus, Windy does not have "believe". For that matter after game 5 it was justified to say Knicks don't have it locked up. Not vs a team that is still the defending champs and ran knicks off its court after a devastating injury.

Why is it necessary to **** on others after a taste of success? Celebrate the victory not enough anymore?

Actually I’m not better than that.

Massi had the good fortune of being able to trade for Kawhi for exactly 1 season and only because of the fraught and fractured relationship the player had with his own franchise and injury.

Every championship team needs luck. That was dumb luck.

What else has Massi done outside of that exact 1 move?

Also no loyalty

Masai built a perennial 50-60 win team and found loads of talent outside the lottery. Let’s not be ignorant to the fact that we are currently playing in a non super team era either. Those Raptors team ran into prime LeBron and his super teams. So Masai accomplished a lot.

Terrific breakdown by Bryce on how the Knicks responded and adjusted in Game 6 defensively. Transition hustle and better communication keys

Just looking at Kat stats thru 12 playoff games.

36 MPG
48%/34%/92% shooting (bad from 3 against Celtics BUT how nice is 92% on 4.2 attempts per game from your center)
11.3 RBs per game (when he is in the area - the ball is his). Great/strong hands.
Basically 1 assist, 1 block, 1 steal and 2 TOs per game. Assists are down, blocks/steals same and TOs down vs regular season
20 PPG - he basically goes for 20 in his sleep.

One issue is personal fouls are up 0.9 (4.4 vs 3.5) in regular season.

He's a frustrating player because the D can get very sketch and the fouls are sometimes child-like &/or insane.

But big time talent and I love he gives us someone who gives us a legit old school post presence when we need a bucket.

Hopefully 3 ball % picks back up vs Pacers.

The only hope we have is to know that Mitch was once a foul machine too and maybe Knicks and KAT need a bit of time.

KAT just needs to move into the same territory of Jalen: don’t be useless

Kinda blown away by this only cause I think Brunson has so much more potential

Do wonder how much the scoring abilities effect this stat

Offense would count only to the extent it gets pulled into the “On Ball Gravity” component.

I’d guess the change from 8 to 7 and from 7 to 6 would be exponentially harder than the change from 146 to 20. But it’s not hard to imagine a world where Brunson could average 20 pts and 10 assists - moving up further.

That would be amazing, and I think totally doable. All of OG,Bridges, KAT and Hart can both catch n shoot as well receive and finish from cuts to the hoop. Need to dedicate more plays towards that play style. Brunson and team have played like that already this season
