He is definitely someone that was missed by many teams. Comment was more on how a really good player can fly under the radar.

The team that saw him up close for 60 games didn't want anything to do with him, signed some other bigs.

Couple of months or 1 game doesn't make a career or a good signing.

Oh man -- despite my disdain for KD and Kyrie I quite liked the Nets prior to them arriving and appreciate guys like Dinwiddie -- a second round pick who earned his way to prominence. Of course I don't want anyone to get hurt. This could be a reasonably big hurt for the Nets. Too bad they likely don't have any #1's or cap room left to trade for one of our guys.

This is tough, especially when you consider the gamble he took with his crypto currency. I can still see him getting a nice payday tho. There are plenty of teams, including us, who'll kick the tires. Wish him a speedy recovery.

I forgot he tore the ACL in his other knee early in his career (think it was pre getting drafted, which led to the Pistons taking a chance on him, and a slow start to his career)

Keep in mind who their starting PF is. They also drafted Stewart. And do not know what was Detroit's financial situation was?
Alls I saying is.. the kid is only 25. In his first year with substantial minutes, he played very well and shot at a high percentage. The first three games are a follow up to last years very good year. But sure, still early and anything can happen. Still disagree with Briggs that given the way thing turned out in the draft, we would have been able to sign him. Assuming he wanted any part of the Knicks.

He played a good 6 weeks at the end of the season. Let's not pretend he did this for 82 games. For the first 45 games, he averaged 11 points a game.
