Have you seen him play? I did not watch him much prior to this year. He played the other night without Wall and was a beast. Grant it, as you said, once we committed to Obi, it did not make sense. He is definitely someone that was missed by many teams. Comment was more on how a really good player can fly under the radar.

The team that saw him up close for 60 games didn't want anything to do with him, signed some other bigs.

Couple of months or 1 game doesn't make a career or a good signing.

Oh man -- despite my disdain for KD and Kyrie I quite liked the Nets prior to them arriving and appreciate guys like Dinwiddie -- a second round pick who earned his way to prominence. Of course I don't want anyone to get hurt. This could be a reasonably big hurt for the Nets. Too bad they likely don't have any #1's or cap room left to trade for one of our guys.

This is tough, especially when you consider the gamble he took with his crypto currency. I can still see him getting a nice payday tho. There are plenty of teams, including us, who'll kick the tires. Wish him a speedy recovery.

I forgot he tore the ACL in his other knee early in his career (think it was pre getting drafted, which led to the Pistons taking a chance on him, and a slow start to his career)

Keep in mind who their starting PF is. They also drafted Stewart. And do not know what was Detroit's financial situation was?
Alls I saying is.. the kid is only 25. In his first year with substantial minutes, he played very well and shot at a high percentage. The first three games are a follow up to last years very good year. But sure, still early and anything can happen. Still disagree with Briggs that given the way thing turned out in the draft, we would have been able to sign him. Assuming he wanted any part of the Knicks.

He played a good 6 weeks at the end of the season. Let's not pretend he did this for 82 games. For the first 45 games, he averaged 11 points a game.

I'm guessing most of them jumped over to the Nets bandwagon.

coaches try to coach the wildness out of players and get them on board with the program. Its early.
Fans are ready to dump them.
Let’s see how Warriors finish the season.
Same with any team with new coaches and new players.

Ja Morant hurt. Dinwiddie........Seems like short camp guys are now getting hurt.
A Luka injury while very unsavory to discuss could change the course of this franchise if it happened. The odds of him being a bit out of shape and getting hurt playing big minutes is a statistical possibility. Dallas his little to “tank” for but if they need to shelve him for a better 2021-22 season then its possible. Long way to go before that is a reality.
Not wishing it btw, use looking a how it would go down:
1. season long injuries to him and KP.
2. They are out of the playoffs.

They won’t risk his health just because knicks have the pick. ITs gone. It has to serve their purpose. KP should be back. Can he stay on the court????
If not remember Luka is a $200,000,000 property. They need to protect him.

I’d like to know Brock Allar’s opinion when the resigned Love to his contract. My guess is they thought it could be traded.

LeBron had just moved on to Lakers that summer, losing both with zero return would have been devastating, Love had all the leverage. Sometimes owner has to extend past his gurus best advice

Exactly, they had to keep face and love took advantage of it. Judge Aller for how they built up the first championship team

I’m not blaming him. I’d just like to know his take. I get what happened and can’t say I’d do differently.

Wow so far I’m really glad that none of the FA moves I wanted went through. Both Horford and Bledsoe look quite shocking so far
