We need a break! If he can be developed it would be a nice boost to our talent pool. IMO just his raw abilities will make a difference. PUSHING that ball on a regular basis and getting more easy buckets is a big deal for this team. Not to mention that Wroten has good defensive potential as well.

Agreed. That's why I was excited about it. His strengths are our team's biggest weaknesses. 1)Quickness and Athleticism 2) Attacking and getting to the rim at will from a guard 3) Pushing the pace from a guard 4) Athletic enough to defend the pg position

All these things have killed us this year.

Exactly the point. The worst teams are the ones that make the mistakes right?? So maybe they just threw away a player that they shouldn't have. They also at one time threw away Ish Smith right?? Look at him now.

It's a smart buy low move - and it's a good way to get him in to see Knicks medical staff to get him on a proper rehab program.

I think Wroten can play but they're protecting him. He's bound to be rusty and not in top shape. He would have very little time to get the hang of the offense as well. So it could just be practical especially in NY where the media is just waiting to pounce on this kid.

I mean... I have no idea what you are basing that on. I think you and I have zero idea what his health status is. It could be that his injury and recovery is far more complicated than anyone knows. But I'm glad the Knicks can work with him on his rehab. That's the smart part of signing him.

I'm basing it on the fact that he was playing this year and Sixers observers said he looked the same physically but rusty. They said he was still able to beat smaller guards off the dribble.

I just think Phil knows the kid needs work and why push him into the fire of NY when he's gonna need time to get his game right?

So what some reporters said six months ago? ok. The truth is we have no idea.

Like I said dude was playing and there were ZERO medical reports saying he was unable to play. So an educated guess is valid.

Well, it looks like Calderon might miss some games due to that calf injury, so I guess we'll see if your read of the tea leaves is correct.
