Kidd is older now. Is it really that far out of the realm to suggest: Lin 30mpg PG / Felton 24mpg PG/SG ...and let Shump take his time? I have a feeling the Knicks are debating the Lin thing... but I think it makes sense to bring Lin back. ¿ △ ?

This move does scream letting Lin go, but it wouldn't be crazy to still match Lin and keep him as an asset. The point on the Knicks trying a CP3 deal centered on Lin does make a little sense. I'm not sure even NY is set on what to do. Maybe they jumped on the Felton deal as an insurance in case they dony get Lin. Felton at his suggested 10 mill contract is a pretty tradeable asset.
