Who do the Bucks have that can match up with Melo? Who do the Magic have? I thought so. i'm just saying it's good for Melo to get his confidence to go up against teams that aren't built to really stop him.

the bucks have one of the premier man-man defenders in the nba in luc mbah-moute. dude is an EXCELLENT defensive player. the bucks are all about defense and a very good defensive team. melo playing well is going to get his confidence back, which is all he needs, no matter who he's playing.

Bucks are like 19th or 20th in the league on D. MBah A Moute is a good defender, but let's not make him out to be some shut down guy. Plus he plays about 20 mins a game and not like he was guarding Melo 100% of the time single coverage or anything. It takes a TEAM to stop Melo and neither the Bucks or Magic played any real D.

the magic have the 5th best record in the nba and the 11th best defense.

Woody said in his press conference that the last two games were good matchup for Melo to play the 4.

No he didn't..He was refering to playing a small lineup with three guards..He said nothing about Melo at the 4 as a matchup

Your right...I hear things now...check your mailbox...the is an new bottle of DeBrox in there. He said depending on the match-up Melo might play the 3 or the 4.

The question Woody responded to was about playing the small lineup...

guessing woodson will know their tendencies pretty well, too. yeah, i'm hoping they win that one. we shall see though. knicks always seem to struggle on the friday night games.

I smell a let down game.

feel like that cleveland game sat nite is the dangerous one as far as let down games go.

It seems like the Knicks always have a tough time with the Cavs.

I feel better now than in the past, since they've proven to be very consistent since Woody has taken over. They had that one let down game, but snapped back to form so maybe this is more of their permanent identity now rather than just a mirage as in the past. We'll see, but they've been very solid in the effort department.

Did we learn nothing from the Toronto streak-ending game thread?

Obviously, I am consistently wrong. First JR Smiff and now this.

Sorry MSG3 [not really]. Bring on the quality ho game threads! Nice job, Chaos!
