Most important stat of the night ??? NO JJ1 / JJ2 / COLLINS !!! Limited Q !!!

I still firm believe there is a place for a healthy Q. When he's fit he's an above average defender, solid on offense and crashes the board well.

We will smack the Nuggets down tonight...

Figuratively for sure, literally if necessary.

Yep, they ghot smacked all right.

Zach was putting in work...

If they can put in efforts like this throughout the season, we'll be seeing alot more W's than we did last season.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

BALK has to start. I think we've found the 8 man rotation. Maybe swap Q for Chandler or Collins at this point. Balkman masks the defensive deficiencies of Curry and Zach.

My MVP of the game evaluation:

Balkman was the plug that lit us up but Im going with Steph. He took a lot of **** this summer and played under control and was great. Im glad to see Stph back to his best. My second MVP would be Zach the Balk.

One thing though. Lee HAS to get more than 19 minutes, he just has to, he only had 1 foul. He needs 30 minutes a game, the team is better when he's on the floor.

Not even an argument tonite. Knicks won.

Zach was better on the boards tonight. Lee played enough, but he was getting his shot blocked a little. Still he was in to energize the team and played a solid role tonight.

I missed the last minute due to a freakin' power outage (just my luck), but nice to hear they buckled down and got the job done in the fourth. That first half had me a bit worried. :)

Be careful what you wish for. You can't ask for them after wins and complain about them after losses.

Just enjoy the win!!

VDes - I think Richardson's minutes will be carefully monitored

Other than wiping my ass with your feelings guys, I'll plug my $.02 in...

Crawford is still going into the lane - good stuff.

What is up with Curry - in the preseason he looked fat as hell, today he looked lean. Is MSG using fishbowl lenses or something?

Z-Bo needs to man up and stop taking so many damn jumpshots. But his rebounding was nice. 17 boards....keep it up big man.

Q is fairly useless at this point.

Balkman - I must've missed most of Taz's work, but had some good def. plays.

Nate - still a clown.

Marbury - played OK.

Lee - needs more burn. I hate you Isiah.

Good solid win though. I'm not surprised though, we always play Denver well, and AI taking 5,000 shots doesn't hurt us either.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Come on guys, Curry?

The guy got only 8 rebs in 35 minutes. How does a 6'-11" center average only 8 rebounds.

And his 4 turnovers almost killed us, and what was that, his second assist of thw whole season so far?

We would be better off with Zaza Pechulia.

We had FOUR 20-pt scorers...

JC 25 pts 5 rebs 8 asst 1 st
Curry 24 pts 8 rebs 1 ast 1 blk
Zach 22 pts 17 rebs
Marbs 21 pts 9 ast 2 rebs 1 st

23 assists which was FANTASTIC

Balkman WAS KEY...I like that Zeke shortened the rotation. I like who is coming off the bench too. The line-up is very versatile with these players. Plus, although there are only 8 players, I feel that the different combinations give us so many different looks.

I think we get off to slow starts because they really are starting to get used to each other. All I have to say is IF Jamal and Zach continue this way...both have a real chance of getting serious All-Star consideration.

This was a real good win. Our D needs some work to say the least, but we definitely can outscore other teams. Jamal, Zach and Eddy with those bench players (Nate, Balkmania, Lee) can be dangerous combination of players.

That was one of the best games I saw Steph play. He was balanced on offense and his defense was much improved.

Isiah was asked if this was the first game he ever remembered Eddy's defense and rebounding outshining his offense...

Isiah paused...said, "Ummmmm...Yes.".

and then he laughed...

hahaha
