I just realized I might be going away this weekend. So no chasing me through picks anyway. I'd be down to play in two weeks. Or if anyone knows of any indoor courts we can rent -- I'd come through on a weeknight.

If you guys play early I will have to catch you on the flipside. I don't get off till 5PM on the weekends.

Actually anyday around that time I'm open to play ball. I will be out there somewhere. Trying to get my timing back.

Its been crazy since Sat so im a little late with my recap.

Had alot of fun playing this saturday with you guys. Significantly more organized than your average pick-up games. But I have to admit that last game I was on fumes (or whatever is after fumes).


Have to give big props to Eny for finding that court seriously in Jersey I cann't find jack the courts are either occupied or non-existent. I've played a Riverside before but the indoor courts which are also super nice.

The only thing: I wish we tried to go at least one game full-court to open things up a bit.


Im down to play anytime there's nothing better than sweating it up with multiple guys on a saturday afternoon

Sounds like a great happening and the common theme of UK Mafia is we all get along in person!

Having hung with Marv and DJ I can only agree they good guys!

The UK love runs deep.

I think we need a UK day in the park. A cook out, music, maybe live music, or at least some good sound, We got some talented guys here, maybe LongIslandKnicks can bring his Zombies and scare the **** out of us, Bip can bring his posse of little bips, Fish can bring the Mrs, Eny can bring asscancer survivors, We can get bring a prostitute for Bonnie and get him laid, I can dodge those that want to kick my ass but would have to get by Mrs. Nalod, all 116lbs of her! Kind of a UK day in the park and play some light ball.

The funny thing is it would be like UN day as all kinds of guys from all walks come here and chat one subject. We also become kinda like friends.

Bringing my wife last year to meet up with DJ, marv, and I believe Queenie was great. Its weird to meet in person at first then it all comes out. Especially over drinks.

Im gonna try to get up there this season!

anyone down for a softball game/BBQ in edgewater? there's a great field on river road that we can get a game going & cook up some dogs & burgers... there's nice clean basketball courts there too so if u get the itch to hoop it up a little we can do that too.

I'm pretty close to Edgewater (at least for a couple more weeks anyway). I'd definitely be down for a BBQ and some hoops or something. For the NYC guys Edgewater is just over the GWB and also pretty close to Weehawken and the Ferry from Manhattan. There's also a bus that runs all along River Rd. that goes into Manhattan as well. Pretty convenient location.
