Yea not expecting much from shump until next year when he is able to work on his game in the offseason with a full camp under his belt. Right now he is making it back from torn acl mcl and just recently completed his rookie year. When people tell me shump wont amount to anything and doesnt belong in the league I remind them thats what they told me about Jeremy Lin

A reason why I really like Iman Shumpert is because of his work ethic/desire to get better with practice/drills/and whatever he has to do to work on his game
His injury and inability to do ANYTHING active

1- develop his game *weakness and strengths* look at any of these recent YOUNG ALL STARS, usually no one comes close to current ROY *Lilliard*, 1st year is a learning phase/adjustments/taste of NBA, year 2-3 is usually the years that you see the potential come out, just look at Durant/Westbrook/Rose/Harden or 98% of all the players

2- keep himself fit or get himself in better shape, even take steps back from his physical condition

3- loss in some confidence that was at a ALL TIME HIGH, loss out on opportunity to defend *DWADE in a PLAYOFF MATCH for better or worse, it would help his development*

4- to start off with, there was a lock out in his rookie summer, so he loss out on the opportunity to use the Knick's gym and development coaches but he STILL WORKED ON HIS GAME EVERYDAY, right after college basketball ended for him, to the combine, draft night, and after he was selected with 1st round pick *2 years guaranteed*

5- so essentially this injury stunted his growth but we can just pray the medical staff gets fired after all the injuries this year with our past decades injuries so nothing like this happens again, as we should be looking to spend the money for The Sun's medical staff

I think he needs one major Dunk to go down to get his confidence back. I also like has his 3 ball has been dropping, which was all he could really do this summer. Hopefully, he works on his dribble and playmaking abilities this summer not to become a pg but a quality 2 guard.

The Nuggets could go to the Finals. I'm super-impressed by that team.

2nd of a back to back!

Im not ready to give them a trip to finals yet but they are overcoming the road and playing very hard.

Faried is awesome!

Their second line gives the first a run for them money!

Faried is easily one of my favorite young players in the NBA. Knicks should have drafted him when they had the chance.

Wow, looking at Denver and team ball. Love Faried and I was really leaning towards him when he came out. Sort of like Jrue Holiday in that our management thought they were not "value picks" where we selected. Seriously, if they let the brighter fans do the drafting we'd be better off. Gallo not shooting the best I notice but the team just plays well with him out there, always has a very high +- .

Denver is a fun team to watch, will be interesting to see if they can play well in the playoffs.

More Denver gush:

Seems that Karl has a team build for his style. When managment/ownership builds around a coach (in a players league) maybe this is what can happen! "Fun" happens! We as fans are conditioned to "STARS MATTER" and that might still hold true but Denver is a top 5-6 team at the moment.

Key word homer here is "at the moment".

We said the same about the knicks a few months ago. It was fun too!

Does that translate to a title we'll have to see the next few years.

You can say that about virtually every draft pick. Its the blunders like weis over artest, balkman over rondo that are costly. Knicks got shumpert at a position of need at the time. Perimeter defense. No one new amare was neverbgoing to be healthy again after averaging 25 & 9

Faried not a MDA kind of player. When we decide what kind of team we want to be and stay with a plan then maybe we can draft, sign, and develop players.

9 coaches in 12 years.

Seems to me you're endorsing this team to win it all or make it to the WCF based on regular season play ?

Waiting for playoffs to start when nerves become the measuring stick and not carefree low regular season impact games.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Seems to me your looking for things that are not there.

Im a basketball fan and am enjoying the season.

Of thats what you get from my post then so be it.

Basically the Government is behind the Nuggets! By promoting the team concept. They hope to castrate the star system to drive down salaries making the owners even richer! Since most of the stars in the league are black its just a continued presence to keep minorities less powerful and.....

Wait, I forgot the President of the United States is a Black American!

Never mind.
