It's way overblown though because how many games in the playoffs come down to last second shots or in the last 24sec? Maybe 10-15% if that.

You guys keep creating and running with this mythical story created in some NYC borough slum alley..... give it up sheesh

I was talking about your typical like top of the key, game clock winding down scenario. I havent really seen him do that.

As for the "mythical story" I really doubt thats what playa was going for. How many times have you heard people say "they need that guy that they can go to at the end of games" or some other bs? I think thats what hes talking about.

it's more important to be a clutch player than a clutch shooter.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

I'd take either one.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Exactly. I think people overrate the notion of "clutch" but I have confidence that Gallo would either get a high percentage shot off or make a high quality pass in the closing moments of a game anyway. And, why does no one ever talk about clutch passing? Look at this clutch passing:

Watching the Lakers v Pacers and one thing they're doing that i'd like to see our guards do is that both Nash and Blake are driving baseline and making easy dishes to bigs for dunks. D12, Clark or they swing it out to the 3pt line for MWP, Meeks, etc.
They really have that part of their game worked out. D12 posting. lots of short drive and kick plays. It's not just PnR stuff. They mix it up really well.

Yep Nash and D12 are actually working together. They may not even need Kobe to beat a pretty good team like Indy.

You can see the Lakers are getting out on the break more as well. The posts they give D12 are much better now. Feeding the post is smooth compared to early in the year. Their team D is MUCH better than it was. They don't look like strangers anymore. They look like a well coached team that has some chemistry and an idea of what they want to do. If they had Hill healthy they'd be a really tough team to deal with cuz they miss that extra big who defends and rebounds.

I think Rose is being selfish - the Bulls clearly need offense and he is not playing. The dude has been cleared to play a couple weeks ago. But he is mentally ready? WTF??? You make what X-Million dollars and you are not mentally ready?

It kind of tells you something about his psyche. I'm not sure he's ever had to deal with something like this. I think he's afraid of not being what he was and people criticizing him.
