When is Hughes gonna come up big against a good team, especially the Red Sox? When are any of our players going to show up for these games?

that's what i said last week... this team's young guys just never seem to come through against the Sux, & their kids always seem to look like world beaters everytime they play us... i'm sure we're all sick of it by now... for once i wanna see Hughes, Joba or Kennedy completely shut down the Red Sux like Lester's been doing to us... i wanna see Melky come up with the big hit instead of Pedroia when these 2 teams play... also wanna see our vets come up big like Bay & Lowell have been doing for them... just seems like so long ago that it's gone in our favor.

4 runs in 4 IP for Hughes? come on, we need more innings from our starter... Aceves in now... hopefully he can keep it scoreless for a couple innings & give this team a chance to get back into this one.

ouch... 9 K's for Lester thru 5, but we touched him up for 3... i'll take that tradeoff if we can hold them to 4 the rest of the way.

Aceves has done a great job keeping the Sox off the board and giving the bats a chance to come back. Awesome job so far.

we don't have too many options in the minors either unless u wanna dump someone off the 40 man to make room for Shelley Duncan... he's been red hot at AAA this year, but in the majors he's never been able to sustain any success... seems like he's a classic example of 1 of those AAAA players... but i agree w/u, having no one to pinch hit in this game is a joke... once Nady comes back that problem should take care of itself tho.
