Jordan received ball in that area too, so that kinda negates the restricted area, right?

And arm not straight is the problem when the other guy hip checks defender to knock him down? How about the fact that Jordan's left arm sweeps through Knight's upper body?

if the refs call that, then the NBA looses it's bread and butter... the highlight dunk reels.. which is why blake Griffin is allowed to palm the face of mozgov as he catapults himself even higher to dunk... I think it is a bit ridiculous, but this is the New NBA....

Indiana is a good team, but they're not going to go far if their offense doesn't get going real well in the playoffs. Recently it seemed that their offense had really been rolling. But they just didn't have it today. What's worse is that it didn't seem like a ton of effort was there. They usually play a lot harder on D. Miami had a ton of open looks.

So what does that mean?

We suhuck just as bad as Orlando, but we don't suhuck as bad as all those other losers!

We lost the Heat game the right way!

Melo still shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as that other guy, but neither should anyone on any of those other 18 teams!

Either way, if Knight just stands still and doesn't jump, he gets posterized Frederic Weis style. Jordan probably would have cleared Knight's noggin by about two feet.

But the Houston Rockets could be the real threat. They have a young star in James Harden and the possibilities of putting together a fearsome team.

They have quietly been sending out signals around the NBA they’d trade Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin, both of whom have enhanced their value since being lured last summer as free agents and were in the grand plan of GM Daryl Morey possibility to be used — as seemingly all his players are — as targets to be able to upgrade.

Its "Sam" so its hyped up but the reality is Lin is proving to be an NBA talent and tradable while Asik a good value for his contract.

To what degree we'll just have to see!

They are not a force to reckon with this year.

I think he is right in saying all of Morey's players are seen as targets to be able to upgrade. However, I don't think Howard leaves 25 million on the table to leave LA. He may get to name his coach and make more money if reports are true that he is texting PJsax daily. I also could see Asik and or Lin or being moved in a sign and trade for another player (i.e. Josh Smith).

That was funny. Brandon Knight handled it very well, even joked about it in a tweet. I give him credit for trying to block it and not trying to run out of frame like most bigger players do.

I completely agree but im pretty sure that Mozgov play was actually foul
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

I get the nagging feeling that the better BroPez plays, the more he can be of value in trade for Dwight wants his first choice to be in Brooklyn.

Phuching clown.

Parity is making for an interesting season.

How does Denver and Memphis keep it up with no "closer"? Memphis trades Rudy Gay and gets better?

Denver "Loses the trade" but does not miss a beat and is getting better?

Both are 9-1 last 10.

IN the east, it seems no team other than Miami can take control. Parity seems to be taking hold.

Knicks still hold on to 1st place. They finish there how can anyone call for Woodsons head?

Who is the coach of the year so far? Brooks? Spolestra? Pop? Vinny? Woodson? MDA? (he is turning that team around!) Karl?

Is it based on the talent or who is getting the most from the least?

Team with best record should get its coach the award.

I do...

This is my prediction in the west at end of season...

1. Spurs
2. OKC
3. Clipps
4. Denver
5. Memphis
6. Houston
7. GSW
8. Lakers

Utah is going to fall-off and not make the playoffs. This is going to be bad for Houston. They don't match up well with the Clipps. Would be better with an OKC matchup in the 1st round. Denver vs Memphis would be epic.
