If ATL trades KP's salary to DAL for AD, I imagine KP gets bought out. Would we be able to sign him? What a reunion that could be.

JJ Redick and Luka complained about Detroit fouling on every possession. Detroit id number one in fouls and number 2 in defense. That seems like an anomaly as foul shots are the best offense (1.58 points per possession vs. 1.1 for 2's and 3's (roughly) ).

JJ also said the refs aren't going to call a foul every time, which also seems true. Has Bernie Bickerstaff figured out a hack to good defense? Just foul the **** out of everyone and force the refs to swallow their whistles?
Most of the other teams leading in fouls, Jazz, Wizards, Pacers, are at the bottom of defensive rating and standings which made me think it's less of a system for them.

Personally I'd love it. Makes amends for the arrogance of his youth? ONly issues left is Janis and that gosh darn horse he rides!

KP is a whiny malingerer who is an absolute shell of what he was 10 years ago and he was way overrated back then. Pass.

We need Mitch & OG to be healthy for a serious title run. just about any team needs to have some luck with injuries to win it all. BOS needed KP to be healthy during their playoff run to win it all.

But for vet min, he'd be the best player that we could get that actually fits and I think KP would be very motivated in a 2nd stint here to make things right.

First off KP is not healthy. I think he has a form of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and he is just returning. So yeah, he is a bit of a mess.
If he is released uf ATL wants to move on, and he is healthy enough for a playoff run at prorated vet min, then yeah I take that risk. Lots of young men change from age 19 to age 30. The guys is humbled by his set backs and if he stays in his lane I have no issues.

PHO is 21-14 after trading their "star"... I sometimes think we'd be better without KAT and everything that comes with him. The constant whining and falling out of bounds taking himself out of plays. It was one thing when he was putting up 25 on 50/40, but this might be his worst season. Basically career low %'s and only 1.8 made 3's, lowest since 2018. In this era for him to be making less than 2 three's per game playing as many minutes as he does is really bad.

And it would be one thing if he were "not settling for the 3" and dominating inside, but he has a lower 2 pt fg% than Brunson who is 6 feet tall.

Not convince we will ever win anything with KAT.

100% - I hope Leon is fielding offers. I'm not married to any of our guys not named Jalen or Josh, and I prefer to keep Deuce if we can afford to keep him. Everyone else is on the table.

They look tired. The extra game in the stupid Emirates Cup didn’t help. All Star Break cannot come soon enough.
