I said before when Kevin Durant had the chance to join the knicks and chose the nets he kind showed everyone couldn’t handle the heat of NYC. I doubt we trade for Durant and way he disrespected the knicks ever change he got no thanks. Remember the whole Deandre Jordan and royal Ivey situation played the knicks saying kd was lock to come but those idiots went to nets as well. I doubt he wants to come here and my guess for Kevin Durant is he either rockets, heat or spurs. |

![]() Now that Thibs is fired it may delay offseason moves as they will probably hire a new coach before sorting out how to proceed this offseason

Feel like Leon doesn't do one move without the other but maybe I'm wrong on that. Usually those 2 things are interlocked. Official sponsor of the PURE KNICKS LOVE Program

![]() ...I wonder how available Lauri Markkanen and Kessler Walker will be? I know most would be reluctant to deal with Danny Ainge but the Jazz are tanking and don't need costlier win-now players. I wonder if we could liquidate enough value– in the form of expirings, youth and draft picks– from KAT and Mitchell Robinson to facilitate that deal.
I think a team that could help us achieve some of that would be the Lakers. I think we can get a better version of the deal they offered for Mark Williams in exchange for Mitchell Robinson. I wonder about the Austin Reaves of it all, since his value could push things closer to the finishline. |

![]() Honestly I don’t see us making any big moves . This team was 2 games away from going to the championship and it was there first year together… we need to add some bench pieces, unless this team thinks the rooks will develop in year two. Would love to see a dominant wing scorer off the bench .
I think some of the factors that got thibs fired was not unlocking bridges and towns constantly in the offense. I feel like this team needs We have the greatest shooting 5 in the history of the nba who is going into his prime years and iron man Bridges is prolific scorer. We just need a coach that can bring the offense together consistently. Beasley and Schroder are free agents question is can we afford a good free agent will any give us a discount to chase a chip. |

![]() Agreed that I don’t see us making big moves, especially after firing Thibs. I see they chose to get a coach for the players we have, as opposed to the other way around where we make moves to satisfy Thibs ethos. My thought for judging Leon this summer is getting his #1 choice to coach, whomever that is, and convincing 1 or 2 legitimate players to take less money to come here to help improve the team around the margins. Chris Paul, Al Horford, Caris LeVert, Tyus Jones etc. Guys who you would think can make more money but want to come to be the missing piece. We take our top 7 and add 1 or 2 really good free agents who are willing to come for cheap because they believe we can win it all.

I would only want Durant if phoenix was super desperate to get rid of him and offered him for Mikal straight up. |

Love this team and another year of the starters together building chemistry we just need some veteran depth. |

![]() Would you trade KAT to San Antonio for Devin Vassel, Keldon Johnson and the #14 pick? If not, how about the #2 Pick? Also get a $9mm trade exception. Draft Khaman Maluach as new center. Sign LaRavia and Boucher.
Brunson / Deuce / Kolek Not sure SA does this, but they’d pair an all offense PF with an all defense C. Kind of works. Fox You know I gonna spin wit it

![]() From the Times
New York’s decision-makers, led by Leon Rose, have shown a willingness to move on from a player if the sides can’t reach an agreement on what a contract should look like. They did it with Immanuel Quickley, Julius Randle and Obi Toppin. Maybe the Knicks no longer see Bridges as a player worth $39 million per year over the next four seasons, even with the salary cap continuously rising. It’s also reasonable for Bridges to view his value as higher than what New York can offer, and perhaps he would rather test the open market as a free agent this time next year. He could see himself as the shooting-guard version of Anunoby, who signed a five-year, $212 million deal last year. Their counting stats are similar. And, lastly, maybe Bridges doesn’t want to take anything less than $156 million to be a Knick. Things that make you go hmmm |
