But if the Democratic Party wanted to win this election, they should have spent years ahead of time grooming much better candidates. I get why Biden got the ticket over Warren and Sanders from a strategic standpoint, but Democrats put themselves in this position by having lackluster candidates in play.

If I was a power player in the Democratic Party, I would have promised the sun and the moon to Denzel Washington to run. He would have immediately gotten the black vote. Women still think he's handsome and nearly all of them are shallow as **** so they'd vote for him, esp the mindless soccer mom Karens out there. He's been married a long time so that helps. His wife is plain so that helps too. He's got kids and none of them are in any major scandals. One was an athlete and is an actor too, so that will help. All of the entertainment industry would be out in full force to endorse him. He's a good public speaker, he's got real charisma, he handles himself well in tough interviews. He has no major scandals. He's cheated on his wife a bunch but that's not going to get held against him in modern times. He's got decades of being in the public eye so has brand name recognition. Fundraising wouldn't be a problem. He'd probably get a lot of the young voters too. Would he be a good President? Probably not. He has no experience. But would he win over Trump? Easy. People, most of them, are ****ing dumb. They will remember him from Crimson Tide and think that counts as actual military experience. "But he went toe to toe with Gene Hackman, so he will be able to fend off those other foreign leaders easy!"

Biden is a horrible public speaker and that will cost him. Bill Clinton was a fantastic public speaker. Obama was a pretty good one. It makes a huge difference. Ronald Reagan was funny and was charming as all ****. Part of voter apathy is that Trump looks like a greedy crazy narcisstic ******* and Biden looks like a greedy boring geriatric Beta. Basic rule of public life - You can be many things and still hold power, but being boring isn't one of them.

We need to immediately pay folks who need it—- and personally I think we should pay those folks DOUBLE— we as a country NEED to pay these people!! People need money for food rent and diapers. They need to see doctors. Schools need money. That’s priority 1!! Priority 1b is marching to get a solution to Covid.

I think Trump only won by small% points in several key states. With such a low yield he cannot afford to have votes of no confidence aka no vote and win. So I am doing something the way Od like to do it If you add in 10% of no votes it’s a landslide victory the other way —I think it’s a done deal

And lastly if Joe Biden becomes president. I’m 100% behind him.

(CNN)Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden again ducked questions Thursday about whether he would seek to add seats to the Supreme Court, telling reporters he would not address the issue until after the November 3 election.

"They'll know my opinion on court-packing when the election is over," Biden said in Arizona, where he was campaigning with his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris of California.
"Now, look, I know it's a great question, and y'all -- and I don't blame you for asking it. But you know the moment I answer that question, the headline in every one of your papers will be about that."

Biden's non-answer comes as President Donald Trump and the Republican-controlled Senate seek to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to replace the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court. If they succeed, the court would have a 6-3 conservative majority.

Democrats are furious that the GOP is moving forward with a Supreme Court confirmation just weeks before the presidential election, after Republicans blocked the Senate from voting on President Barack Obama's nomination of Judge Merrick Garland to replace the late Justice Antonin Scalia in 2016, citing the closeness of the presidential election.
"The election has begun," Biden said Thursday. "There's never been a court appointment once an election's begun. What, 4 million or so people have already voted. They're denying the American people the one shot they have, under constitutional law, to be able have their input, and that is picking" Ginsburg's replacement.

For the Democratic ticket, the politics around the subject are tricky: Many in the party feel that Republicans have effectively stolen one, and soon two, seats on the Supreme Court, putting in place a conservative majority that could block progressive policies for years. Progressives have said the only way Democrats can get around intransigent Republicans on Capitol Hill is through changes such as adding seats to the court -- therefore narrowing or eliminating the conservative majority -- and eliminating the Senate's 60-vote threshold to break a filibuster, which Republicans used to block legislation during Obama's presidency.

But Biden, a former longtime senator, is an institutionalist who has centered his campaign on a return to normalcy and civility. Polls show he is winning over moderates, and he is hesitant to give Trump any new ammunition to link him to his party's progressive wing.

Pence pressed Harris to address whether she and Biden would seek to add seats to the Supreme Court in Wednesday night's vice presidential debate, but Harris would not answer.

Harris didn’t respond to the claim.

During Biden’s first debate with Trump last week, Biden didn’t provide a definitive answer to moderator Chris Wallace of Fox News.

“Whatever position I take in that, that’ll become the issue,” Biden said. “The issue is the American people should speak. You’re voting now. Vote, and let your senators know how you feel.”

Fuck Joe Biden. And **** Donald Trump.

Here's the problem with Biden. In order to attain and hold office and power, just that, not actually serving the American people, he has to not offend/lose the votes of progressives, moderates, far left, women and blacks in the Democratic Party. I understand the strategy. But what it means is he is going to say nothing and stand for nothing. He'll lean one way if it gets him votes, he'll lean another the next day if keeps him from losing votes.

"I'll answer after you elect me!" What kind of happy horse**** is that? Take that outside of politics, that's some low speed high drag bull**** right there. No one is going to respect you as a man if you don't come clear on where you stand and why. It doesn't just look weak, it is weak. The American people actually deserve to know where these candidates, both of them, stand on major issues so they can make an informed decision. But why act like a ****ing man when you can be a simp? Which is the same reason Biden could be doing something about these riots but won't because it matters more about protecting his votes while those gutted business owners, just regular Americans, watch their version of the American Dream burn to the ****ing ground. Biden could easily say, I'm going to be President so fix your **** or else, to Lori Lightfoot, hiding behind 150 cops surrounding her home, but he won't.

And let's not pretend Trump is any better. He's a gutless ego driven whore so he will take any position that will let him keep office and keep power. Which is also why he stands idle while cities burn. He wants undecided voters to associate all protest with violent protest, and all violent protest with BLM and all of that associated with Biden and the Democrats.

The greater good is you. It's you and your family and maybe some small pockets of your community. That's who will help you or have a chance to help you when **** goes bad.

No wonder there is so much voter apathy. That might be the one thing that everyone can agree on without pushing partisan lines.

It doesn't matter who Joe Biden is running against. It could be that dip**** Trump, it could Rich Kotite or it could be Satan himself. He still has an obligation to be a ****ing man. What a gutless piece of ****. Take a ****ing stand somewhere. I suppose someone will say, this is what the cost is to get Trump out of office, this is what someone has to give of himself for the "greater good" OK, if people want to try to sell that horse****, even if Donald Trump wasn't running, Joe Biden would do the exact same thing.

You know why there's apathy? Because people aren't that complicated. What they really want isn't that complicated - Act like a ****ing leader. Be a man of the people. Serve the people even if it means your individual political career be damned for it. Be clear in who you are, where you stand and what you will fight for and hold that ground no matter the political cost to do so.

This is where politicians like Trump, Biden, Obama, Clinton, Bush and the rest have detached from reality. Which is what happens when you stop really working for a living and have drivers, pilots, servants, butlers, aides, personal chefs, personal hairstylists, etc, etc. Real everyday people are just numbers to them. Cannon fodder. Votes. Taxpayers. Not actual human beings. Because you can't actually live with yourself and watch cities and the American Dream burn and do nothing for the sake of political strategy without first dehumanizing everyone in front of you.

If Joe Biden wins, you can call him President, but I wouldn't call him a man. Being the lesser of two spineless simps doesn't make you some kind of hero.

I’m a Bernie supporter, usually I’d be very critical of Biden and the democrat establishment, but I honestly don’t give a s*** about any of that this election. For me, this election is simple- it’s solely about: f*** Trump- I don’t get how anyone can be apathetic about that. It’s not difficult, it’s not ambiguous. You have a chance to get rid of one of the lousiest, stupidest, nastiest, delusional, narcissistic, vile excuses of a human being from a position of power. Take it!

with that said...on jan 21, the world can still be the same, with covid, no vaccine and people needing money. if there needs to be a mediator here to help facilitate a deal, who would your rather have in place? maybe that's what you should be voting on.
