The players just look flat. Considering the main players were all here last year, we seem to be lacking in team chemistry. Kidd, Sheed, Novak and Kurt were great chemistry guys. We have no comradery this year.

I'm hoping something ,magical happens when JR comes back, but that's probably not realistic!

Playing K-Mart and Amar'e every other game isn't going to work- its just disruptive to them and the team. Better to play them for 4 or 5 game stints then give them a game off.

urrrrrrgggggggghhhhhh.... not enjoying this season so far. Hate, HATE that even scrub teams shoot like 70% against us. I thought we'd get off to a slow start though- maybe if we can end the month at 50% we can build on that.

wtf?

What is up with this? Earlier you posted you didn't want the Knicks to win tonight.

He said something before about taking a step toward blowing it up

Yeah, welcome to todays nba fan- they want their teams to give up as soon as possible. More interested in fantasy offseasons and imaginary drafts than actually watching players compete and fight through adversity.

No matter what a fan may hope for they dont control the outcome.

Personally this team needs a shakeup, and if they keep losing it's gonna happen.

This is the lockout year all over again.

As opposed to hoping ISO ball ad nauseum will get us that championship? It's horrible to watch and I don't see it taking us all the way. I enjoy team BB, unselfishness, camaraderie and effort. We're the opposite of that basically. So I'm all for trading Melo first and foremost. And yes, I'm intrigued to see which players we can replace Melo's black hole, book whatever and 20-30 mils with.

This game sucked, ownership sucks and we suck. Coach sucks, Media policy sucks, medical staff seems like they suck too. I mean what do we realistically have going for us as fans? That we're good at putting ourselves in deep black holes with no draft picks in sight? Even if we do trade Melo, the value is probably gonna suck along with our ensuing record. Hooray for Denver... those fleecing phuckers!

I root/hope for a respectable Knick team, a team that is on par with the city's culture, history, its love for basketball and most importantly its fans. Does no one think we deserve waaay better than this? I think of Nixluva and feel bad for his unconditional love and optimism for this team. Where's his reward?

Bros, we're 1-3.

The morning after is the worst feeling in the world, like when your Xbox breaks or your favorite game has a scratch that doesn't let it load.

This is all accumulated shyt since the new millenium. No one likes anything we have going on right now. From Steve Mills to Charity Smith to our cheer leaders. I'm not sure what to do about all this but vent, wait and see.

Next summer will be pivotal for some fans I think. I'm not hoping for a resigned Melo.

The only thing that amused me in this game was when Tyson went straight up and was called for a foul. He then argued with the ref saying "I went straight up", which he did- but alas that straight up rule only applies for Hibbert and no one else!

Nixluva is a good fan, just unrealistic, I had that unconditional love at one time and it was stripped away... It is not logical to unconditionally love a sports team... it will lead to heartbreak all of the time... especially with this franchise.

People call me a hater, but i saw this coming years ago, myself guys like DK, 3g, guns, and others. we saw this coming. I know it is early to push a panic button, but I don't see things getting much better..

I don't want to get into bashing a player, but the culture that this player creates just reeks of everything that is bad about dysfunction...add to that crappy ownership and here you go..

I do indeed- do you not believe that? Honestly? You believe the refs only suddenly realized they'd been calling the game wrong all this time during the Indiana playoff series?!

I watch a lot of games, I saw where big men go straight up and not get called for the foul at all. It is not just hibbert... tyson tends to reach over when he jumps... he is not the only one... you think it was just hibbert and the indy series, knicks players especially carmelo have been getting their shots blocked a lot.. see what gilchrest did to carmelo last night?

I think the word you use is spot on - FLAT. There just seems to be little passion and hunger and thats a huge worry early in the season after 3 home games. We need someone to take the team and lead it. Hate to say it but kind of like Ortiz did during in the dugout during the WS and I don't know if we have those characters. Its why I'd like to see us with a nasty competitive plater like Rondo driving us, we are just too damn nice most of the time and the fouls or technicals tend to be stupid rather than because we are manning up. Looking at the schedule we will be doing very well to be .500 by end of November.

I think it is a combination of a lot of things with him.. one of them being a streak player...but also not physically the player he was a few years ago.. who knows...

Yesterday etc

Not sure what was meant by "today's NBA fan"

I've been a fan since "yesterday's NBA"
