We should put the hammer down and bring it back 3-1, Knicks

Melo had a talk to his mama and said:

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

21 turnovers killed the pacers. many were unforced but some were due to the knicks tightening the screws.

prigioni was instrumental in helping the knicks tonight. his play is really paying dividends.

carmelo did better in terms of efficiency but he needs to do better especially on the road.

good win-- too bad there is so much time off because we could use the momentum-- now lets win two in indiana.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

I keep hoping for Kidd to be a factor at some point. i mean even his decision making has been piss poor.

Felton is playing so great. Rest comes at a good time for him.

i think we need rest. both melo and felton need to get healthier. Guys like tyson and jr need to get their heads together. Tyson looked better in the second half but JR has been putrid since he got suspended. all we need is a couple games where he explodes. he is due

Melo was phenomenal today, he needs to do better than he did in the previous 4 games for sure, but if he plays like tonight throughout the playoffs I like the Knicks' chances.

Great win. Now lets take at least 1 of 2 in Indiana.

I welcome the time off. It gives us time to heal. 3 days off for treatment on Melo's shoulder, Ray's ankle and although there will be differing opinions on this subject...time to get Amare ready for some quality minutes and JR to get out of his funk.

dk7th - once again, your angle is laced with half truths and lime flavored haterade.

The three day break allows Carmelo's shoulder to heal and Amare some valuable practice reps. Raymond Felton can also receive treatment on his ankle.

Carmelo needs to do better than 50 per cent? Okayfine. He should never miss a shot. Sheesh.

Good win? A win by nearly is a GREAT win. Too bad it had to be on Mike Woodson's watch.

We sent a message that defense WILL be played. The turnovers were NOT unforced. They were took.

Get real. Win one in Indiana. Come back home for a big game 5.

Exactly. Winning 2 on teh road is tough but it sends a big message. I still belive boston is a tougher team because they are more battle tested. We beat boston 2 of 3 in their turf and we should have won game 4

Yo Pablo

One more thing. A 36-4 is similar to what we did to the Celtics when we got focused.

Those types of dominant runs are never sustainable.

But they sure are fun to watch.

Lets just take game 3 for starters.

The Pacers have an advantage inside with West and Hibbert, yet each of them only take 7 shots apiece. Not that I'm complaining....

Another thing that was made clear tonight .... For those saying we have no future, we're looking at it right now. Shump is going to be very good. I remember him saying how his injury was actually a blessing, made him focus on shooting the ball better and the little things. His mid-range game has improved drastically. That dunk was nasty! His progress from this year to next could be major.

Missed the game (west coast work) - does anybody have a link to a recording or something like that?
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I think there are folks that won't be happy unless Melo is putting up Bron numbers. I am happy with his being the best Carmelo Anthony he can be. I don't need him to be Bron. 50% shooting, 32 points, 9 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals, 0 turnovers is more than good enough for me. I'd take that every night from him gladly.
