I actually remember you calling that a while ago...the Knicks not being able to compete with running teams

Yes, we can't beat the rocket while missing three starters. We suck.

Nupe you take things too personally its only a game

I'm not sure he is taking personal but just pointing out the ridiculousness of some of the reaction. People have to be reasonable with expectations sometimes. Takes 5/6 rotation players of. Any team and let's see how they perform. Yeah every once in awhile u can get by but in the long run fully healthy teams will kill you

Irish was talking about the team at the time. Considering we've played the whole season without Shump and Amare, Melo is the only excuse to be used in this particular situation.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Melo and Amare and Shump and Camby and ... did not play vs Miami

Exactly. San Antonio was missing their starting 5 and still almost beat the heat

funny i was just thinking im glad we only see them twice a yr

No Amar'e, No Melo, No Rasheed, No Shumpert, No Camby....

I think Knicks will be fine win or lose.

Also, this game is far from over...

yes thats true however im tired of seeing us get lit up by houston

Knicks are down by like ten points. That is nothing. Where does lit up come from?!?! You need to relax and let the game play out. Even if this is a loss, I can live with it, since our roster is somewhat decimated.

Eh, while that's true every team can look for excuses.
To me it doesn't mather how or to who we lose to, it's always painful.

This

Well, you guys have no perspective. I do. The Knicks will lose anywhere from 20 to 30 games this year. They are going to lose games. No need to get bent out of shape over any particular reg. season loss. Also, this game is far far far from over. We got totally blasted in HOU. This is not remotely similar.

No perspective? I just don't see why I should "accept" any loss because you know a team isn't going to win every time they step on the court. I know they aren't going to win every game, but when they lose it's always tough and for me it's normal to not feel ok about it.
Just because you know no team is going to go 82-0 it doesn't mean a loss is "acceptable" because of that.
You lose because you don't play well enough, and you know they can play better.

You don't see why we should not get bent out of shape in a game THAT IS NOT EVEN OVER where the opposing team is fully healthy and we are missing 3 starters and multiple bench players? Ok. To each their own.

We have the oldest team in the leage and are already missing 3 majors pieces to our team and multiple bench players and the season is still young. And somehow you see this a good thing??

Wow.

Breen has that way of wearing on you...

He is a grinder, especially if he has the opportunity to be negative about melo.

I can't believe he's still a knicks announcer, he excited to say how the other team is beating the knicks.

I swear we have the least homerish announcers in the NBA. You listen to any other feed from any other team and their announcers are all up in there for their team

27 points now. Is that enough?

We will most likely lose missing Melo, Amar'e, Shump, Sheed, Camby and Felton having two injured hands. We will be 18 - 6. I am not bent out of shape at all. I can live with this loss and somewhat expected this game to be problematic once I learned there will be no Melo based upon prior performances without Melo.

If you want to cry have at it. Every fan will deal with these things in whatever manner they see fit whether it is reasonable or not.

I don't know. Can't get free for the shot. Doesn't give that prepetual motion to get free. No pump fake for a shot. No drive and kick. If the only thing he's gonna do is take an outside J, it's got to MONEY

The rockets are hitting their 3s like crazy. When we hit our 3s we win most of the time. 1 loss, onto the Nets.

the positive I take out of this game is:

1. Copeland (nice pass there to brick white)
2. Novak's defense (this is not sarcasm)

Fully disgusted even with coach Woodson

The loss I can take 1 pt or losing by 40pts

but show a little emotion eh ?
there is nothing there from any of its SOFT players tonight

dont wanna hear no excuses bout injuries OR this & that whom aint in the lineup

There is no chippiness Or any kind of anger from Knicks they are getting their ass_ess whipped soundly by Harden, Lin
and bunch of rockets

The Knicks look like quitter tonite! I am embarrassed to say it
and ashamed. I hope they dont quit and play to the end but it looks like they quit to me tonite!

I don't see what makes you think I am taking anything personal. Perhaps you should stick to commenting about the game and stop trying to play psychologist. LoL!
