Sidenote: Novak can never guard Dunlevy Jr. again. Melo and Shump did a great job in the second half on MD Jr.

Did he hurt it tonight or is that what has been bothering him?

He re-aggravated on a drive to the basket.

It's the torque on that crazy spin move he does. If he was in top shape that would be no problem, but this year he's not in that kind of shape and he's been really going hard on D so he's overexerting himself.

The mass of MElo's body can't withstand that kind of movement.. he is really Fat IMHO

COMPLETELY AGREE!

This was a game we desperately needed and it wasn't going to be easy considering our precarious situation without two starters. Melo, also banged up, really stepped up big time.

Yeah...Novak left a tad too much space.

It wasn't just Novak. Dunleavy got off on Melo and Fields too. Everyone got a taste of Dunleavy's jumper early on.

We will probably have Melo/Stat/Lin/JJ out for the next game. Good times!

you think Linsanity will have a second chapter?

its crazy how deep we are now! We didn't have JR, Baron & Jorts at that time but Billy FN Walker instead! I think Melo will be fine as will Lin. Amare on the other end who knows

We also need Jeffries!

Ugly Offense, but Great Defense. Everyone dug deep and gutted it out. Baron had like 9 TOs, Melo had the groin issue, and JR overcame a horrible shooting night to get this victory. Hope Lin can return against Orlando, and let's steal another one!

Hell frikkin' YEAH. Gutted this damn win OUT. GREAT game.

Melo had 28 and 12? Nice. Back to .500.

Now it's Orlando next up for Wednesday. Lin should be back, and hopefully Melo will be able to keep up the good play and that groin doesn't flare up any worse.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

This game was all about the defense. This was another game that we won when our offense was horrible. It's been a long time since the knicks were able to win games when their offense was off.

Defense held the bucks to 28 points in the second half.

I don't want to take any credit away from the Knicks D, but the Bucks were also missing open shots. The game was pretty much a mess.

Melo got one off a switch and Fields maybe 1 or two but with Novak he couldn't find him in transition and could not stop him off the dribble.

Amazing how much hate Melo gets, even when he has a great game and steps up big time. The Melo hate knows no bounds. It's getting to the point where it is sickening. I guess you'd rather have Gallinari, oh yea he's on IR AGAIN!

When a player or a team plays good defense, it can always be attributed to bad shooting by the other team

Can't believe we were sweating a team under 500..the bucks have no bigs whatsoever and should not make the playoffs, and will not make the playoffs
