Lee had the best defensive game of the season. Looks like he is working on it.
In general this was the best loss I saw for the Knicks in a long time. The most promising loss in 10 years.

promising losses = progress!

Gallinari did a good job on Durant? Durant had 36 points, shot 5 free throws and made every big shot. Let's get real.

It could've been 46

Great game tonight. Bummer we lost, but House was a monster from downtown, Sergio was WAY more active and quick, making solid passes, TMac showed major potential, but he needs time to shake off the rust and get his legs (I noticed him rubbing that left knee a lot in the OT). Gallo played solid defense on KD, Lee had three blocks and played amazing offense.

Bad points: Chandler not showing up, Al being Al, Duhon being a suckbot, general sloppiness with the ball by everyone, missed free throws.

But all in all, what an exciting intro for TMac to the NYK. I can't wait for Monday's game. I hope TMac comes up to speed quickly.

I'll bet he's cheap.

And, TMS, I hope you're not trying to blame this loss on Malik.

it's like mini body blows he delivers to my ears everytime he opens his mouth, it's that painful.

MDA still putting on the players for not fouling. I still don't buy it. Too many players have made that choice within the past year and a half to not get idea.

I know, but MSG is saving salary. I don't think they actually have to pay Malik.... At least, I hope not.

House did what he does. He make big shots. Although he had a couple of nice passes. It's when his shots aren't going down that his flaws as a point guard are heavily exposed.

no doubt, he's gonna have his off nights too, this is in no way shape or form going to be the norm for Eddie House, i realize this... just saying tonight he looked like the most impactful player on the floor to me, that's all.

Oh no. I get that.

It's hard to argue about Westbrook because every game I see him in, he does well but I keep hearing that he isn't that good.

Suckbot? Hmmm... that's got potential.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I think it's cause in terms of actual basketball skills, he doesn't really have great court vision or even a good jumpshot.

But his athleticism and speed is unreal and he's on a team that complements his game perfectly. Not to mention he's not a scrawny PG, which is usually the case when we're talking about a quick PG. He has the build to be a strong defender too.

That team is young, happy, on the same page, and DANGEROUS.

Imagine them in 3-4 years. No changes. Just... THEM as you see them. No additions, no changes...just...all grown up.

That team is flat out SICK.

Now, we made our mistakes. Bad ones. TMac missing the 2FTs to seal it. Chandler doing god only knows what forcing a layup in the face of like 8 defenders all at once. Our Lee to Gallo for the 30 footer out of a timeout play call.

Green's flung up prayer that bobbled it's way in. Then Durant's cold blooded three as pure as a kid dunking a nerf ball through a 2 foot high plastic little tykes hoop in his basement.

Westbrook could have scored 70 on layups alone if the Thunder just fed him to do so. (Yeah, lee, I'm looking at YOU. Nice to get your 3 blocks, now I bet you want 20M per year cause you're a "defensive presence".)

I mean, really, WTF... Only us. Only us....

Very exciting game though. Probably the best of the year.

Well, kiss it goodbye. You won't see that again.

Westbrook is legit...I'm really impressed..Like to see him create more for others, he certainly has the talent...But he makes that next step and learn to knock a consistent J, he will be one of the better players at the position...

Was at the game last night, besides the huge facepalm at the end, with another terrible loss because we couldn't close, it was a really fun game, I haven't seen an MSG crowd that hot in a looooooong time. The we want TMAC chants were surreal, almost like the crowd didn't know we are out of the playoff race and that he is a rental player.

I was there too. It was a great game to be at. Bit of a tough loss to swallow but I've had enough of those to get over it quickly. It was a very exciting game with a lot of buzz in the arena. It was awesome.
