the reason the knicks seemed to play decisive basketball is because nate was on fire and he was their go to guy. so they had a go to guy for a night. is nate a true go to guy? definitely not. good job, got the W, but i wouldn't put a ton of eggs in this basket because the basket will either not exist or be crushed by a wolf.

also, mr. paladin: trevor ariza is garbage. a 12 per (douglas is 13.1), 37% fg, 31% treys, 67% ft. last i checked, the object of basketball was to put the ball into the hoop as efficiently as possible.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

Beat the Pacers on Sunday night

Im not calling the entire team losers...Im trying to show the logic of calling Nate a loser...

And you should be questioning those that call Nate a loser after he single handedly beat the Hawks....

No one calls him a loser, but he is and will always be a selfish player. Definitely fun to watch when he scores like that and the next time he has this type of impact on a game can 1/3/2010 or 1/5/2012 see the problem? He is low percentage option on a struggling team and no coach in their right mind should coach based on the low percentage players in the team.

Having said that, he didn't preen in front of the camera and didn't act like a diva today so he deserves props for that. Nice game lets just enjoy the win but no need to get carried away.

Have you ever seen Vinny Johnson play?

Nope, started followig Bball in the late 90s

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

I think Gallo and Cahndler today made a loud statement of what we can expect when we get a Lebron/Wade type to play beside them. Got to love Gallo's feel for the game and his ability to step up or down as and when needed.

Not much to say about either Nate or Wilson that hasn't been said. Both had incredible games out there.

Gallo was having an off game, then hits some clutch shots to help bring us back in the 4th. Just shows how important this guy is to keep him on the floor.Lee looked awful tonight. I was hoping Hill would see some action once we saw the Nate/Landry sightings. Everyone's allowed an off game, especially with how well he's been playing. Looking forward to a strong performance vs. Indy.

I supported D'Antoni with his benching of Nate, and still do, but I am certainly glad to have the little guy back.

maybe I was watchinga different game.. but he went 4-6 from the field and 3-4 from three with 6 rebounds... what is off about that?

Like I said the few will always make up something

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Nate was an all-star, but Mike woodson of atlanta is a very poor coach. He had horford in the paint on offense with gallo checking him with 5 fouls and never went to him.

He could have went to pick and roll with Joe Johnson making gallo check him with 5 fouls and never did it.

The knicks deserve to win this GAME.

knicks went to the zone and gallo did a good job of ball denial... hawks then settled for jumpers....

I watched the game, Horford sealed gallo on many occasions and they never gave him the ball, later the knicks went to zone because even coach dantoni saw the mismatch. LOL

Atlanta really blew it when they passed on Chris Paul for Marvin Williams. All they need is a real two way floor leader and trade Joe Johnson and they will be right there.

You're right Misterearl.

Maybe we should just call the Knicks losers for their 13-20 record.

watching Marvin u can see why ATL was so high on him... he's got tremendous skills & talent & at his height there's no reason why he isn't an elite player right now... the head just isn't there for some reason... CP3 was born to be a leader, he's just got that charisma about him that makes other guys want to follow... Marvin looks like a lost kid sometimes, but he's got a ton of talent.

i agree w/u tho, they made a big mistake passing up on CP3... if they had him on this Hawks team, Josh Smith & Al Horford would be perennial Allstars & the Hawks would be a defensive Center away from being a championship contender.

IMHO they have their C in Horford and PF in Josh Smith, what they don't have is a real floor leader and SG.

Joe Johnson is a ball hog who doesn't know anything about team especially in the 4th qtr.

i think if they took CP3 & brought in a shotblocking C like Marcus Camby, they can play Horford at the PF & shift Smith over to the 3 w/JJ at the 2... that gives them 1 of the better starting 5's in the game if u ask me... tons of defense & shotblocking in the frontcourt, a bonafide leader & floor general, & potent scoring that can really push the pace as well as play halfcourt style ball... tough to stop that team.
