Isiah still has a LOT of work to do with this team. We have to improve on our defense against that pick & roll. Our guards are getting killed being run thru a million picks, one after the other. I thought the use of the zone made sense at a certain point and if our offense was up to par we could've pulled this out once we got within 1. The big thing is we have to get these guards to the point where they're executing at a higher level. Francis had a big game, but from night to night we just aren't getting good performances from Steph, Francis and Jamal. Then add in that we can't get Frye involved and we're at a disadvantage every night so far.

This team is gonna need more time to get it together. I still don't think it's a case of this team NOT BEING ABLE to play good ball. I think we'll see this team play better. It's up to Isiah to keep the troops from losing confidence or losing their team morale due to early losses.

everyone's gettin testy because it only took three games to realize we don't have a season to care about this time. three games. I'd love to make it out of November one of these years.

Why do people assume isles is a racist? Clan? Isles is not even white.

Isles is annoying but so is everyone here. Isles has big balls too for showing up to the 2005 get together.

I'm not related to isles and I don't know much about him but he is no clan member.

The real problem with forum is marv. That bastard is too well liked and respected on this forum it makes me sick. If he wasn't such a nice guy I would have something bad to say about him.

BTW, in case anyone thinks I don't think the Knicks played like crap tonight and are showing really scary signs, that's not the case. Marbury, Craw and Francis have taken turns alarming me through the first three games, though Francis was good tonight. Frye is a disaster so far, and Isaiah seems to have the same odd feel for player rotation that Brown had.

LIke I said on another post. Zeke shouldn't have fran and star on the court at the same time and Lee should definately be starting and Frye should be coming off of the bench. So far it looks like Franchise is looking to take over as the regular guard. The Atlanta game, he had a bunch of assists and now a bunch of points. At least he's doing sometihng! 'leader' is pathetic and I think he's had it. At this point, I don't understand what Zeke is doing. Maybe he wants to make sure the present starting line-up is not' going to work at all. This line-up is simply not complimentary to each other.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Can't afford to panic. That would be throwing in the towel, after only three games. Come on guys, it's three games and half the team sucks right now, but we are one Frye away from adding points and one defensive player away from stopping the opposing scorer's. Jeffries would be tremendous in our inside game. It would keep Curry out of foul trouble and Frye wouldn't get any pressure having to back Curry up. I think Francis is the go to starting guard, if you ask me. Now if this is the same scenario, in lets say about one month from now, then we probably have no answer. But all in all, at this point, Frye got to work his way out of his slump.
I'll never trust this' team again.

He's going with his glamor players. They're largely the ones who cost the most, and who he needs to justify the acquisition of the most. Plus, some would complain the most if not given special status.

So how long till discontentment over roles sets in? Maybe when Jeffries returns, if not sooner?
