Hunter has been reported to have adult ADD, and his inability to learn anything in Orlando his rookie year, and his continued failure to execute plays on any kind of consistent basis, should be a big red falg.

If you think Stormile Swift is a dumb player, he is prolly a rocket scientist compared to Hunter.

Thanks for that update, in a few more posts this dude was becomeing the second coming!

Hunter has value for a run and gun team with him able to fill in the lane, or get back to trail. This is not your Knick team just yet. With a shoot first backcourt, im not sure he is the right fit.

hunter fits the mold of what our mantra should be, "younger and more athletic". but that doesn't necessary equal a good player. he will contribute, get some nice dunks courtesy of marbury's 1/2 court penetration but shouldn't be expected to give you more than a strong 20 mins of action on most nights.

with that said, he is what he is, and that's a backup center (right now), and he can definitely help us since we don't really care about $$$'s.

3 years $10 mil sounds about right and that should be the MAX he is offered.

Hunter may thrive in a system with Marburry and Crawfford running the show...Those two are very athletic and can be magical with the ball, especially in the brake...Bring him in and allow him to be the start, trade Sweetney for another pick. Our front court needs a total revamp...Frye and Hunter on the court as our starter can turn us into the Spurs of the East...Hunter may become a much better player by next seasoh.

My guess - Hunter gets TWICE 1.7 per at least. Go ahead and call me out if I'm wrong, but I don't think I will be.
Who's gonna pay him 3.4 million?

3 years at about $3million per? what did that Foyle get from GS?

I think Hunter didn't get a lot of time with the Suns because of the style of play the suns played- I mean, if Amare is your starting center, what kind of minutes should the back up expect?

I'd be happy to get two solid wings in the first round and have a hunter as our c. I think he would give you decent numbers as a starter with good minutes and having a real c would allow KT & Sweets to spend more of their time at their natural position, helping them out.

Hunter would provide some decent defense too.

if they thought he was anything better than a 25mins player they would've started him instead of playing a severely undersized frontline. I wouldn't give him more than $2.5mil

Wait- the Phoenix suns won more games in the regular season than anybody and if I had Amare on my team, I'd be happy to have him as our center!

Undersized frontline, but uber talent. ours is undersized and under talented.

Are you feeling okay? Do you know how people on this site feel about Trevor Ariza?

I wouldn't do that, WQilcox hasn't shown anything yet and Ariza may be better than him next season.

You have got to be kidding me, the clippers were playing their best ball when Wilcox was a starter, he was putting up 15 & 8, which would only increase if he had more time and Marbury and Crawford Spoon feeding him.....

If you can upgrade the position you do so, you get a guy who is 6'10 and jumps very similiar to Amare.....

You add a Granger in the draft, and suddenly that frontcourt isn't so small

I really like Ariza two, but there is no way he is better for this team, I would rather see Granger out there and JYD coming in for 15 a game......

Ariza hasn't showed anything spectacular either, he is a good young talent, but thats all right now

Cheap Sterling doesn't want to give Wilcox his money. When is this guy going to get bounce out of this league. My question is what is wrong this picture. Why Wilcox? If he is about to burst out, then why don't Baylor just keep him and pay him a reasonable salary unless Wilcox doesn't want to resign.

the kid has only been around for 1 year, and given the circomstances, he did a hell of a job...now if you say trade Sweetney, I would say hell yeah..

It would be nice if Hunter knew how to catch the ball. And once he caught it, knew how to shoot, otherwise he has a lot of nice things about him, but more as a back up.

Sorry, I was under the impression he was hurt a few times, and stuck behind EB all season along.

15 and 8 sounds pretty damn good from an athletic 6-10 player.
