Yeah...I don't think Toronto takes Bynum either after taking a project like Arajuo last year. I strongly believe Atlanta will trade down to 5 with Charlotte. IMO they go PG at 5 and center at 13, but if Bynum they could very well do the reverse depending on who's there.

Paul is more like Marbury than a Nash, with a little better PG mentality. Felton, Deron are more comparable to Kidd/Nash. I doubt if Atlanta indeed wants a PG they won't pass on a potential superstar like Paul and draft felton or deron instead. Keep in mind that this is how teams approach the lottery. That is how high pick busts like Antonio Daniels happen

very possible. Felton/Deron would be better for Atlanta than Paul. But they would also be better for Charlotte than Paul..who knows

hopefully some stupid team like the Hornets take a project foreign bigman like Splitter, Vazquez, Martynas @4. Then that will guarantee us at least Bynum but I don't see New Orleans being that stupid
I am banking on this. Some GMs can't resist the Euros, they must have them to show off to their friends. I also think so guys may leap into the top order too that we have peg behind us. I could see someone making a late push too, I think Granger and Webster could move up. I think Zeke is ready to take Bynum at 8 which scares some teams like the Hawks and NO who were hoping to trade down.

They could and will, they are more concern about Paul's size then apparently any other lottery team. Paul won't get pass 5. Wake guy goes to a team that really wants him. I would like to see Webster/Granger workouts as well.

If Bynum is gone I would take Petro. Why because Petro is about the same height, Weight and same age, he is an athletic freak also. He also played against higher level than Bynum. I think we need to seriously evaluate the following players for the eighth pick. Bynum, Petro, Frye, Splitter. Now if for some reason Green falls to 8 then that is the only player I would consider taking above a true center.

hahaha

I just have a lot of possibilities in mind incase Bynum our #1 priority is gone. Man I would go nuts if we draft Splitter. I'll go straight to Newark and Chug some Cachaca! But deep down I think Tiago if a couple of years away from developing offensively and at best put up Gasol like numbers, which is alright but I think I'd rather draft a SG could light it up and not miss 61% of his shots like Crawford.

Damn I don't know! if there was only a way to snatch Bynum/Splitter & Wright/Webster!

we have to explore all C posibilities seriously. I think Bynum represents the best offensive weapon from the C spot and certainly the biggest frame with the longest reach to go with it. I saw the clipps of petro, if that guy is 7-0 260, I will be rather shocked. Im thinking 6-11 240.

Take the best center prospect.

The tryouts and combines are the place where everybody will be measured, weighed, bent over, whatever the hell they have to do to them.

This is a golden opportunity for us to take the best center prospect at 8.

I seriously don't want to entertain any BPA talk at #8. I'm only interested in BCA!!

but Marv if Bynum wasn't in the picture you have to take into account how rare it is to find a center this late in the lottery who you can justify picking over Amare, Mcgrady, Pierce, Artest, Al Jefferson, etc. Great center prospects go 1st or 2nd in the draft and still don't pan out half the time. I wouldn't even draft a project like Splitter over those guys and guys like Wright, Webster & Granger. If we had the Nets 15th pick than I would be thrilled if Splitter slipped because we'd have no choice but to be patient. But at 8 we can still draft a star if we're smart!

The only reason Bynum has a chance of slipping to us is because he's 17 and will be passed up the way Amare and Al Jefferson.

Hey you can't claim Amare and Al Jefferson - I'm claiming them as centers taken after 8!!

'04 - Andre Biedrins at 11; Robert Swift at 12; Al Jefferson at 15

'02 - Amare at 9; Nenad Krstic at 24; Dan Gadzuric at 34

'01 - Brendan Heywood at 20; Samuel Dalembert at 26; Mehmet Okur at 38

They're there. McGrady, Pierce, Artest are rarities.

Let's take the best of Bynum/Blatche/Frye/Splitter/Vasquez/Andreezy/Taft. Let's go big
across the board!

Edit: forgot Petro!

thr only guy I would take over Mcgrady, pierce, artest is Amare. Bottomline is we need to take the BPA. Luckily Bynum may be one of them if he's there!
