TT's days are numbered in NY. he won't be here at the end of the season, possibly one over the summer or by the trading deadline. so we can use another SF, especially someone a more complete player than ariza now or within a year.

a SG to move crawford to the bench as originally envisioned works too.

yeah but graham wouldn't get any signifant minutes until after the trading deadline at the earliest. he is a guy who needs the minutes right away to develope his shot. Why waste the #1 pick on a SF? we need a big SG who will play right away. only thing we need more is bynum or maybe splitter

now if we drafted Granger I would play him at SG because he can shoot with TT & Ariza at SF

TT is gone, unless you want to resign him after this year. We need wing players, plain and simple. Ariza is nice at 2 or 3. What other wings do we have? Rose and JYD can play a little 3, but is that the direction you want to go in?

Again, Isiah knows what is best and I hope that he sees just like I can see, what the need for our team are and use proper measures to provide or address those needs.

you must really put Marbury up there with the Lebron's and Wade's of the world if you think we are only a Channing Frye away!

Joey Graham is a better wing prospect that Wright imho. Graham is a man. he plays two ways, meaning he plays tough defense and if there is ANYONE in this draft that resembles Shaun Marion its Graham. Graham isnt the ballhnalder that Wright is, but he is superior in many other facets, incluidng defense shooting the ball, strength, body weight, jumping ability probably even or a notch towards Graham. Consistent tough player. Wright had a great year this year but was AWFUL his first two years in college. he is no Ray Allen IMHO, we could do worse for sure

Graham can't shoot. Wright can. Graham is a SF, we already have TT & Ariza!

Graham cant shoot? well you must have the wrong guy then! he was a 90% foul shooter and .500 3pt shooter

I'm thinking about drafting the best player available and getting off to a good start next year because of that player. Then trading TT for key pieces or simply letting his contract expire. If we draft a guy like Grahman who is strictly a SF he will hardly ever play behind TT, Ariza and JYD. At least Warrick can slid to PF at times. And Granger from SF to SG.

But if we can draft a potential star SG like Wright. He will play right away and contribute to wins. Whether he starts or comes off the bench. I would start him because of his size and have Crawford come off the bench as the combo guard. Bottomline is he will be in the backcourt rotation right away.

Ariza is still too raw to count on for scoring. We need someone who can not only defend the perimeter but someone who knows how to play. Someone who can run the wings in transition and shoot and actually make shots not miss 61% of the time.

Now if Bynum is there for us at 8 we better take him! then we'll worry about drafting a SG like Fernandez, McCants and Gelabale later on in the draft

Im not against taking wright, but in essence Im hoping that a big man will come forward here for us.
