Splitter probably doesnt need to work out much. He's ranked pretty high.... his only issue is the buyout (or lack of one)

Don't these guys usually have the NBA set up a team public workout through their agents. Also, can someone clear this up, I keep hearing this is the last time Splitter can declare for the draft since he will lose his amaetur status. Does it have anything to do with his pulling out of the draft for the last two years or his European playing status. Also will he then be viewed as a FA signing.

only way he's a FA is if he goes undrafted. Otherwise a team holds your rights. Remember the Blazers had Saboni's rights almost 10 years before he came over.

I hope that Isiah doesn't make the mistake that majority of you wants for him to make. Isiah is a brillian man and he knows that he must invest heavily to strengthen our frontcourt....I hope that whatever he does, that he decides to acquire 2 big men to address the Center position....You don't let your chances vanish like that, especially with the crop of big men we have out there...If watching Amare doesn't put a bitter taste in Knicks fans, I don't know what will. who did we pick before Amare???? exactly, a much shorter and less athletic kid...

We picked Nene before Amare and shipped him for McDyess.

The only guy that interested me in this group was pops mensah for 54, do we have anything about this workout? no, just some mumbo jumpo from PGs we dont need that high in the draft,

Briggs i'm confused.

I saw a post where you hyped Louis Williams but i've watched Williams and Ellis go head to head and Monta absolutely manhandled Williams

so ho could you not see anything in Ellis?

Even the scouts who attended the camps all agree that Monta is on a different level than Williams. Not one scout said different

Interesting how everyone (perhaps including Houston) would have been better off drafting Stoudemire.

The order that year:
1) Yao
2) Jay Williams
3) Mike Dunleavy
4) Drew Gooden
5) Skita
6) Wagner
7) Nene
8) Wilcox
9) Stoudemire

Other notables from that draft class:
10) Caron Butler (At the time, was "the steal of the draft")
23) Tayshaun Prince (now quietly becoming the next Pippen)
24) Nenad Krstic (perhaps a future all-star?)
25) Frank Williams (our past "PG of the future")
34) Dan Gadzuric (a VERY solid starting center)
35) Carlos Boozer
36) Vujanic (our other past "PG of the future")

The only player I pick over Amare right now is Yao.
