Splitter is the way better prospect. I wonder what team will get sckered into fran vazquez?

I compare Splitter to a version of Jeff Foster with the potential to score more and play better overall. He would be an immediate help on the D+R, but I think he could stand another year in Europe to concentrate on being the man in terms of getting the ball in the basket.

I think Franny would get exposed in the NBA for various reasons, number 1 being a tweener and a jack of some trades and really a master of none.

Splitter dunks will a lot more authority which shows he has more strength. just look at the way he is able to hang on the rim whereas Vazquez barely reaches the rim and is all arms like you said.
I couldn't disagree with you more. Splitter dunks it very weakly and just hangs on the rim, look again. He looks very weak, Vasquez dunks it with more authority. Vasquez's blocks looked better and more authoritative too.

I cannot believe how much you keep saying Petro isn't 7 feet. I don't have proof other than the fact that EVERY single site lists him as 7 feet. You keep saying he's not like you had him over for dinner or something. i really wish you would stop unless you can prove it!

Splitter moves great. He has excellent footwork. Only question is will his offense come along. I think it will since he's got the footwork already. Vazquez is more of a slighty better Frederic Weis to me.
I saw just the opposite, it looked like Splitter had trouble getting his move off and LOL, his face does look like he has trouble with bowel movements, maybe he was injured or something. I see why he is dropping in mock drafts. Vazquez's wingspan is incredible. He was dunking without effort. I like his help defense too. I can see why he is climbing.

I haven't seen enough in those clips to vouch for Splitter or Vasquez. What I do know is that they both can attack the rim unlike our favorite PF Kurt Thomas. Now if either one of them has a consistent 15' jumper I'm packing KT ****ake right NOW. Not now, but RIGHT NOW.

well if you think Splitter is weak, Vazquez isn't that much stronger if any. Splitter is also taller

Well, to have a reasonable opinion about a player just for what you see in clips is not fair.
I don't know about Petro but:
Fran Vazquez is 6'10
Splitter is 6'11
So, none of them is 7 feet and Splitter is the only one who can play center.
Now, offensively Vazquez is better at the moment. At the rebounds and overall defense Splitter is SLIGHTLY better than Vazquez, and physically, Splitter is clearly better. BUT, let's face the truth: BOTH almost SUCK on defense and I don't care if you have seen him blocking a shot in those clips or whatever. Splitter can be improve much more than Vazquez because he is taller and quicker. Also, Splitter is playing much better than Vazquez in the play-offs. He is having a very solid performance.
As for my opinion: NONE of them is going to be an all-star, but if we have to choose between a decent PF or a decent C, it is clear what we need right now. If and only IF Splitter is available at #30 I would definately choose him, but no way I'm spending the #8 pick in a player that is not showing that he can dominate. I may be wrong, of course, but that's my opinion right now.
